They claim to be 24 hours, and they are open with a half dozen employee cars in the parking lot... yet at least between 3am and 5am -- they are effectively closed. If it isn't their POS systems getting a 4am update that takes them down for 20-30 minutes, it's their astonishingly slow service at the drive thru. So slow, you're left wondering if they had to grow the potatoes and slaughter the pig or cow to make your food.

Honestly a terrible McDonalds, the staff isn’t friendly. There is no positive attitude, can’t even comply with extra pickles on the burger or make a burger right without making it with the buns upside down. Like what kind of rush are you in that you make it like that.

~The Grady Way Renton McDonald's – A Masterclass in Operational Inefficiency and Policy Negligence~ This establishment is, without exaggeration, the most poorly managed McDonald's I have ever encountered. If you value your time, I strongly advise you to take your business elsewhere, as this location appears to operate on a whim rather than according to its own established protocols. The most glaring issue is the blatant disregard for posted menu cutoff times. Despite the dinner menu being advertised until 3:59 a.m.—and a mobile order being successfully placed and paid for within that window—the staff arbitrarily decided to stop serving dinner items early to facilitate their breakfast transition. This creates a frustrating and entirely avoidable paradox: why mandate a cutoff time if the "actual" cutoff is ten to fifteen minutes prior? If the management at the Grady Way location lacks the logistical competence to serve the dinner menu until 3:59 a.m., they should have the integrity to update their hours to 3:45 a.m. Instead, they choose to let customers navigate the mobile app, drive to the location, and wait in line, only to be denied the service they were promised. It is frankly pathetic that a franchise at this level cannot produce two simple hamburgers for a customer who followed every rule of their system. This is a symptom of a deeply asinine approach to business and a total failure of leadership. To illustrate just how unintelligent this is, here is what your current business model looks like to a rational observer: The Airline Failure: Claiming you serve dinner until 3:59 a.m. while refusing service at 3:50 a.m. is like an airline selling a ticket for a 4:00 p.m. flight, but locking the gate at 3:30 p.m. because the pilots "felt like getting an early start" on the next trip. If the gate is locked, the flight doesn't exist. The "Digital Ghost": Imagine a bank posting hours until 6:00 p.m., but locking the doors at 5:45 p.m. because the tellers wanted to start counting cash early. You’ve created a "digital ghost"—an app that accepts money for a product that your staff is too disorganized to provide. This is a fraudulent representation of your operating hours. The Amateur Theater: This is the equivalent of a movie theater selling a ticket for a 2:00 p.m. showing, but turning off the projector at 3:30 p.m. because the janitor wanted to start cleaning for the 4:00 p.m. crowd. You are telling the customer that your internal convenience matters more than the contractual agreement made when they clicked "order." The Bait-and-Switch: It is the same as a gas station advertising a price, letting a customer swipe their card at the pump, and then having an attendant pull the nozzle out of their hand because they "decided" they’d rather sell propane now. You chose to mandate a 3:59 a.m. cutoff—a micro-detail of your own making—yet you lack the discipline to adhere to it. In closing, there is no higher form of "dumb" than failing a test that you wrote yourself. You have gone to the trouble of programmed accuracy, yet you allow your staff to treat that time as a mere suggestion. If a customer cannot receive an order at 3:58 a.m., then your "Now Serving" status is a lie and your management is a fiction. You are effectively running a business where the "Open" sign is on, but the doors are deadbolted from the inside. It is an absurd way to conduct commerce that makes the entire McDonald's Corporate structure look like a circus.

This place is soooo bad. Everytime I come here, I have food that is always missing. I pay fot extra sauce and they never put it in the bag. Workers have a nasty attitude when you tell them food is missing that YOU paid for and its never busy there. So I am not sure why the funky attitudes. I chose to go in today and order. Didn't put my hot mustard in the bag. Walked up to the counter with my bag and proceeded to show him that it was missing. He throws ranch and ketchup in the bag. I finally said whatever and just walked out.

DO NOT EAT FROM HERE. THE KID FILLING YOUR BAG IS NOT FOLLOWING THE HEALTH CODE AND WILL EAT FOOD FROM YOUR ORDER. (Order was taken about a quarter after 9:15pm). As they were filling my bag, an employee with bedazzled stiletto finger nails, with messy hair decided it would be a good idea to eat fries from bag. Manager corrected by giving me replacement food, but did NOT seem bothered. Point being, you can't eat from a restaurant where employees eat the customers food or eat while serving customers food. And those nails are very likely a serious code violation, make me question whether or not they wash their hands or follow basic food handling practives. I will be reaching out to King County Health department. That's gross.
