Digital coupons are increasingly not applied at checkout. Including those displayed in their adverts. It seems employees are being told to resist manual corrections unless you tell them to void the affected products from the transaction. This has occurred to me more in the last year than the prior 20 years combined. At this point, I'd say it is happening at levels that indicate an intention to scam customers that don't catch these mistakes themselves.

Love Safeway, but I don't recommend going the 23rd of December. No parking and long lines.

Recently was shopping at Frontier Village Safeway. I had stopped for a second to review my shopping list when an employee ran into the back of me with her flatbed cart. I walk with a cane and that day I was using two canes which were in my basket which she had to see. I let out a scream of pain and grabbed my leg. All this employee said was sorry and pushed her cart right by. I was next to the pharmacy so sat for a minute. I went to customer service to pay for what I had in my cart and told her what happened. She called for the manager, who I explained what happened and all she said was there is nothing we can do for you in the store. Would you like to fill out a report. As I was filling out the report I asked for her name and she said as I told you there is nothing we can do here. I told her I needed it for the report. She finally gave me her name Juanita. I was contacted by Sedgwick and had a good experience with them. I wanted to talk with a district manager later to let them know they should have some customer service training. I called Bellevue corporate and was told no district managers that had phone numbers. I called Phoenix and was told no district managers have phone numbers. A person I spoke to said they would email them and some one would call me. Two weeks later and no district manager called me. Safeway you should be ashamed of yourself and have better customer service that cares about their shoppers. Roxanne Adams

Only negative I've seen is the handicap spots aren't the shortest route to the front door, which is required under the ADA. Also the current spots have blocked sidewalks and a speed bum between them and the door.

I ordered groceries for delivery by 4:00 pm. The delivery was delayed by 1.5 hours. When I received it, I realized that there were somewhere between 17 items missing for a total of almost $60. Included were all the baking supplies. It was like several bags weren’t delivered. I put in a refund request online. The refund went “under review” and could take 24-48 for approval. This left me scrambling to replace them (baking cookies this weekend). Additionally, I’m going to have to pay again to replace them. This was the second time in a few months a significant amount of a delivery was missing. On the prior delivery, without notice the missing bags arrived at 10:30 pm but only after I put in a refund request. This time, I ended up calling the customer service line. Lo and behold out of nowhere the next day, at 3:30 PM (almost 24 hours later) the rest of my order showed up. I hesitate ordering delivery anymore because of the unreliable service. I don’t know when I will get my order or if I will get my order.
