So i last minute went over to Safeway wasnt expecting much of a store bought cake but the tres leches oreo cake was delicious! And the young lady at the bakery section who helped me out was super kind helping me pick out some last minute cakes for my kids birthdays. I will definitely be going there for my cakes more often.

Regardless of any misunderstanding, there is absolutely no excuse for insulting a customer. Customers deserve to be treated with basic respect and dignity. Being spoken to that way was humiliating and unprofessional. I expect better customer service from a company like Safeway, and I hope management addresses this behavior so it doesn’t happen to anyone else.

There weren't any in that weight so the lady at the near counter took my name and number and said she would have one ready for me today that was 3 lb. She was supposed to call this morning but I never got a call. I had to call them. When my bf went to grab it, he asked for 3 lbs. They gave him over 4 lbs. I just had to spend more than I could afford just to have dinner for tomorrow. I'm freaking out. But we would not have dinner without it because it's so close to Christmas. I had a very strict budget and the lady that was helping us knew that.
