    Of our last 5 visits to McD's drive thru, this is the first to have our order correct and received correct. Isn't a happy meal always good to a 5 year old? The toys aren't as good as they used to be. They are mostly the same boring do nothing bobble head like that just goes in the trash.

    We went at 3:30pm on a Sunday, there was no one at the register so we used the kiosk. When I tried to pay, it said cashless wasn’t working so I chose “pay at the register”. It didn’t print a receipt, so I went up and waited. The girl kept filling the sauces and never made eye contact with me. Another boy came up but didn’t talk to me and looked like he was clocking out. Finally a man came up and helped me. There were 4-5 other families in front of us so we waited. After about 20 minutes I went to go check on the food and it was sitting there, cold. When I asked what happened, the woman was extremely rude and said “we’re short staffed so that why I was calling it out”. Ok, but the kiosk said grab a table top number and we will bring the food out to you. Plus, we’re in the play place and it’s loud. So, obviously I couldn’t hear you, which should have been apparent if after 10 mins, the food never got picked up. I get being short staffed but a simple apology and recognition would’ve been enough.

    This is generally my last resort place to get some quick to eat and today proved why it should never be an option. I literally only got fries and a mcchicken but both were hot as if they were just made but were far from it. For the mcchicken, the lettuce was wilted and the patty was chewy like if it was put in a microwave. The fries though were the worst, they were nice and warm but when I touched them they were soggy and soft and almost inedible. I’ve worked fast food before but I would never consider serving food that was below standard or old. Insane.

    I stopped by at 3am and the person taking my order I couldn’t understand him very clearly. I placed my order then proceeded to the 1st window. No one was there so i waited a little then when no one showed up I assumed they were taking my card at the 2nd window. The guy then shows up while i already pulled away and was very rude. He told me i was supposed to pay at that window and when I told him sorry no one was there if they can take my card at the2nd window he said yeah. The lady then told me I had to go all the way around and she couldn’t take my card. I wasn’t going to go wait in line again when there were a lot of cars in line. Their customer service is terrible and it made no sense why she could t take my card.

    "I've documented this incident for the authorities.” A word of caution to fellow customers about payment security at the drive thru window. Always request to use the tap-to-pay feature when possible and never let your card leave your possession. I've reported this incident to my bank's fraud department". Prosecution of the drive thru employee of fraud, I've documented this incident for the legal authorities.” Fraud transactions leaving digital trails, IP addresses, device information, or account details being traced back to the fraudsters email and number. The fraud department already revealed the name associated with my card number used on Turo fraudulent charge. The fraud department asked if a Nate Johnson the person that made a turo reservation using my card information ring a bell to me, despite I don’t know the name, it has to do with Covington McDonalds especially the drive thru employee that I handed my card and closed the drive thru window. Who knows if he took a picture of my card and committed fraud after work. If an employee reaches for your card, politely but firmly state that you prefer to handle the payment yourself. This is your right as a consumer, and it helps protect your financial information. Based on my recent experience, I strongly recommend checking your credit card statements after visiting. Taking these simple precautions can help ensure your financial information remains secure while still enjoying the services offered."
