Had a wonderful dinner experience at this South Indian restaurant and absolutely loved it. From the moment we sat down, the person in charge was extremely kind and attentive, especially toward our kid. He thoughtfully placed an order for a cone dosa for our child right away, and it was brought out early—fresh from the kitchen. Our kid loved it, which made the whole experience even better for us as parents. The food truly stood out. The flavors were very authentic and reminded us of classic Tamil Nadu–style cooking—rich, comforting, and well-balanced. My wife ordered the Karaikudi-style kadai curry with mild spice, and it was perfectly made. The spices were flavorful without being overpowering, and she really enjoyed it. I ordered the parotta, and it was excellent—soft, fluffy, and delicious. It paired really well with the raita and the vegetable korma, making for a very satisfying meal. Overall, great food, authentic South Indian taste, and genuinely warm service. We’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for true Tamil Nadu flavors and a family-friendly dining experience.

Anjappar restaurant The waiter at this restaurant is absolutely unacceptable. He has no manners to speak to customers, when asked questions he gets rude, rude and arrogant answers. The uniform is dirty and has a bad smell, which is dangerous for hygiene and health standards. This service is absolutely anti-customer for any restaurant. The management should take immediate action, this employee should not be placed in front of customers. Anjappar restaurant in the Seattle area is located at 14625 NE 24th St, Bellevue, WA 98007 Next time, I would like to write about this same restaurant in the rest of the restaurant reviews so that people can know.

What an exceptional place for an authentic south Indian food. Been there for buffet as well as for the regular dining. It is worth spending 23$ for the buffet which includes variety of meat, fish, and veggies with addition of the live dosa counter. For the regular dining The vanjaram fish, nattukuzhi biryani, mutton sukha, chetinad curry will take you to the next level. Must try dishes of Anjappar The people working there are very friendly too.

Anjappar Chettinad Restaurant in Redmond is a great spot for authentic South Indian flavors. The dosa was perfectly crispy and served with flavorful sambar and chutneys. The Chicken Chettinad stood out with its rich spices and true Tamil-style taste. Portion sizes are generous and the food feels fresh and well-prepared. Service is friendly and attentive, making the visit comfortable. Overall, a must-visit for anyone craving real Tamil cuisine in the area. 🍛✨

First visit to Anjapar. Somehow the feeling was this restaurant caters to more non-vegetarian food. That is incorrect, they do have reasonable vegetarian options atleast in snack options which was my focus. I liked the restaurant ambiance, felt spacious. Our server Vijay was fantastic, very friendly, respectful and also good in recommending options and checking in on the quality of food. We ordered different kinds of dosas, Indian style noodles w/veggies, gobi manchurian, malabar roti, filter coffee. Having so many options were great. Dosas were made really well. The noodles and gobi manchurian were more oily than what we would have liked and low on the salt. We had to add salt to our taste. Few recommendations to the management: 1. The restaurant board could do better by indicating they serve vegetarian dishes too. They have a white board that talked about lot of non-veg dishes, I almost would have not entered. 2. No one at the reception so felt a little awkward going in. Did not know where to wait. 3. Reduce oil. Some of the items really oily.
