This store has misleading signs on their produce. They will put vegetables up on a cart in the front, with a sign that's say $3.99, on measured out bags. I was buying brussel sprouts, because I assumed it was on the tall sale rack by the front entrance and a sign that marked everything on the rack $3.99 I go to ring it up, and it's more like $6.50. What irks me, is how am I supposed to know it's double when there is no scale?? They clearly measured each bag the same amount and then tricked me into buying it. I'm so tired of these unethical pricing tactics. Food costs enough already. Safeway is shady. And I will do my best to shop elsewhere.

On 12/15 I purchased 2 packs of flounder fillets. I got home and started to prep the fish when I noticed the horrible smell of the fish when I open the pack. So I went back to Safeway to request a refund and Night Manager Tony (as I was told) mentioned that I would have to bring the fish back. So I agreed be mentioned that I trash the rotten fish, but I pick it out and bring it back. Afterwards I was told no worries they will provide a refund. On the two receipts that I have from that night. I was not refunded and I was also charged an additional $2.02. I still have the receipts if anyone wants to investigate. I just feel played and bamboozled

Extremely overpriced! They charge $10 for a bottle of Tony Chachere's, which is normally around $5. They then added a sale of $7.99 to make you think you're getting a deal, when just down the road that same bottle is $5! Everything is so beyond overpriced here; we were shocked that they are literally charging $5 more than the regular price at the store down the street! How this place stays in business is beyond us at those prices. This place was just as bad as Publix prices in Florida! Save yourself a ton of money and shop at Aldi's and other stores; even Amazon Fresh was cheaper as they had that same bottle for $5.
