Kinda both the nicest bank and cafe you're likely to come across... And the coffee drinks are half price for card holders. There's not really anything bad I can say.

Can you recommend another place in Richmond that is open until 7:00 PM, located in a central area like Carytown, has lots of seating, serves delicious coffee, matcha, and tea, and offers a 50% discount on drinks if you have a Capital One credit card? I couldn't find another place.

The "bank employees" are just retail service guides. After stepping in today to make a cash deposit only to be told that the machines are full and that I could" just go to CVS," I may just close my account! Depositing through CVS or Walgreens is through a 3rd party processor! That's not secure banking and a recipe for disaster, identity and financial theft. It's false advertising, in my humble opinion and want an explanation why I can't get service at your "Bank!" Why did I have to waste so much time (time is my money) going to your physical location, in Carytown ( not exactly the easiest place to find parking) just to be told NO! I already chose to open my business accounts with another bank because you made it so difficult to open them with you. Why would anyone want to stay and build with an organization ( in your corporate hometown I might add) that has no true customer service! Customer Service Fail!

How do I bank at a Capital One Café?
Capital One Cafés offer a modernized, friendly approach to banking that provides a low pressure way to get support. While we don’t have traditional bank tellers in our Cafés, customers can use our self-service options to get everyday banking done., even on the weekend. Ambassadors are on hand to assist you along the way with your banking questions, and can even help you apply for an account. Capital One Checking account holders can use Café ATMs fee-free to check their balance, deposit or withdraw cash, make credit card payments and more. Come in for everyday banking–stay to enjoy a handcrafted beverage. You can also:
- Replace, reissue or activate your debit card
- Lock and unlock your debit card
- Change your debit card PIN
- Receive sign-in support
- Update account information like your address, phone number and email address

Account holders (18+) can reserve a nook—a private workspace with tables and outlets—when they’re in the Café or from their Capital One mobile app. When in the Café, visitors can scan the QR code on the door of the nook to access the reservation portal to complete their booking. As of December 2024, account holders can make reservations in the Capital One mobile app by searching for their preferred Café, viewing the details of that Café and selecting "Reserve a Nook" to access the reservation portal.
