We are the result of many years of dreams and hopes. Pio Pio is owned and operated by Danny Pain. His number one goal is to share a little about his Peruvian culture and passion for food with Northern Virginia.
Pio Pio Peruvian Cuisine is recognized as one of the best Peruvian restaurants in the area. In October 2018, Pio Pio Peruvian Cuisine was named the Best Peruvian Restaurant in the DMV by Gala Peru 2018.

Every dish is phenomenal, and the ceviche is outstanding. If you’re looking for amazing Peruvian cuisine with great drinks and excellent service, Auténtico is the place to go!

Thi is the only peruvian restaurant that serves authentic Peruvian food. have tried peruvian restaurants throughout the US(Florida, NJ, NY, MD and all VA) and none of those restaurants have the flavor Autentico has to offer. However this is for the owner to consider, the alfajores are terrible and so is the chocoflan. I wont try more of the desserts because it is apparent they are not consistent with the restaurant’s excellence. To summarize food is excellent however their pastry provider needs to be replaced immediately. The chicha morada has a lot of room for improvement as well. The real chicha morada one is at P&N ( used abbreviations just for the owner to decipher). I come very often and refer this restaurant to many friends and i always say it is the best. I will keep recommending this restaurant as the only real deal for peruvian food and great atmosphere.
