  I can’t speak to the service or atmosphere. I only ordered carryout. The food wasn’t just underwhelming for this place’s hype— it was outright disappointing. A simple task, the bacon egg and cheese sandwich, was a big mushy mess. The bottom half of the sandwich was so soggy, it wasn’t even possible to hold it. Disgusted. The flavors are not there either. The croissant for my pastry is anything but flaky. It honestly seems quite stale. I was excited about Maman opening nearby to get some good French style foods, but I am not interested in this quality. I’ll keep driving to Mclean or Alexandria for Fresh Baguette. They don’t have the lavish style like Maman, but they certainly never fail when it comes to quality.

  This place is a gem!!! First off- they were patient with us. Our first time there and it everything was so fast-paced that we had a lot questions. The staff was very helpful and answered all the questions. Coffee was perfect. It even had a cute design and in a nice big mug. Lastly- the food!!! Breakfast was great! Only downside is that it’s definitely hard to find an open table- it’s first come, first served. Just be patient and eventually one will be free. I wish this was a bigger place. Overall great place!! Definitely coming back! :)

  My first ever experience with Maman was in Washington, D.C. I discovered that my absolute favorite menu item is the Papa’s Breakfast Bowl. Since that first experience at one of the locations in D.C., I’ve continued to enjoy my visits at various Mamans in the DC and NORVA areas. The food is scrumptious and mouthwatering, the atmosphere is something straight out of a Parisian cafe, and every morsel keeps me coming back for more! The only thing that would make Manan better is if they opened up one in Conway, SC. If not Conway, at least Charleston, SC. The state down south that has Maman is Florida, I believe.

  Got their kouign maman and butter latte. Very good. Interiors are nicely decorated. Friendly staff. A nice place overall. My one note for corporate is that there was only 1 barista making drinks in the back while the cafe was getting crowded. She was great and efficient with making drinks. I hope the company realizes that one person can only do so much though. In their defense, I also went at what’s probably considered an off-peak time (10:30AM on a weekday), and they might not have been expecting a packed place because it looks like they have 2 baristas working in the back in a few photos posted by other reviewers (some also show 1 barista). I didn’t expect to wait 15 mins for 1 latte, but the staff were clearly trying their best with what they have—perhaps corporate will help with operational efficiencies over time. For my next visit, I plan to order ahead and pick-up to avoid waiting. This will be my go-to cafe spot in this area!

  Walking into Maman feels like stepping into a cozy Parisian kitchen tucked inside the city. The space is warm, inviting, and beautifully decorated — think vintage charm meets modern comfort, with the smell of freshly baked pastries filling the air. My friends and I ordered I the omelette, a latte, tea, a power bowl, waffles. Everything except the tea was just pure perfection! The staff were friendly, patient, and seemed to genuinely care about the experience. The vibe makes it a great spot to read, catch up with friends, or just slow down for a bit. If you go, don’t skip their Nutty Chocolate Chip Cookie — it’s one of the best in the city (crispy edges, gooey center, pure heaven).
