    First and last time I’ll visit this restaurant. The food was not Mexican at all. The flour tortillas tasted like they came straight from Walmart, and the dishes were bland and flavorless. It’s ironic because the restaurant is covered with photos celebrating Mexico and its rich cuisine, yet the food here doesn’t represent Mexican culture whatsoever. Honestly, I’d rather go to Chipotle than come back to this place.

    Excellent service! Steak tacos are delicious and have no fat on the meat. Salsa is so good with yummy crunchy chips. All halal! A must try.

    Taco Zocalo is a gem. The tortillas taste freshly made, the fillings are perfectly seasoned (the barbacoa carne asada are standouts), and the salsas have real personality—from bright and zesty to smoky with just the right kick. Portions are generous without feeling heavy, and everything comes out hot and fast. The staff is friendly, attentive, and clearly takes pride in the food; they offered great suggestions and kept our table stocked. The space is clean, lively, and welcoming—perfect for a quick lunch or a casual night out. Bonus points for the crisp chips and a killer house margarita. Consistently excellent food, great value, and warm service. I almost cried it was so good. Five stars without hesitation.
