What a joke. This place is now become a membership club where they charge you $90 just to walk in the door. Just another greedy grab by Capital One to try to squeeze more money out of travelers and sign people up for ridiculously high interest rate credit cards. Just what I wanted to deal with after dealing with baggage TSA security, and an aching back. I can't believe the airport allows this.

Capital One Landing at DCA has a major operational flaw: **there is no direct phone number for the lounge**. This became a serious issue after I accidentally left my bag behind.
Staff are very prescriptive about where bags must be placed, directing guests to leave them under a table in an **unsecured area**. That’s where I mistakenly left mine. This is different from Capital One Lounge in IAD that have secure lockers. The obvious solution would have been to call the lounge so staff could quickly check, involve security, and send the bag to lost and found—but that option does not exist.
Even Capital One representatives were unaware of whether phone numbers exist for their own lounges. I spent a few hours to eventually find someone from Capital One who knew the numbers. While they found numbers for other lounges- there is none for Capital One Landing at DCA.
Airport security told me they cannot act unless the lounge turns the item in, leaving me stuck. Other airline and credit card lounges have basic phone access—there’s no excuse for this one not to.
To make matters worse, Capital One customer service showed little concern, and a supervisor even claimed they were "not responsible".
For a lounge that markets itself as “premium,” this lack of accountability and basic infrastructure is unacceptable and the customer service rep who was a supervisor barely acknowledged that in our phone call.

The Capital One lounge experience at DCA was very good, the food was delicious authentic taste. I’ve been to Spain so I know what their food taste like. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for Spanish tapas, I would say the portions are small, but you can order more than once so that was good. All around I give this lounge a 10, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Unbelievable I’m a Capital One Venture X card holder and business Venture X holder but was unable to access the lounge due to their policy of needing to have a confirmed seat assignments? What a joke!!?? Total waste of time! That’s insane to tell the customer to have to head over to the gate to get a confirmed seat assignment and then we’d be allowed access to the lounge. Terrible customer service!
