Well designed space, they did a decent job with taking a small amount of square footage and making it usable. The only exception is the bottle neck where the Bar and Restrooms meet. As for the food, you can tell that the ingredients are very fresh. For me personally I prefer pizza that has texture, crunch and bite (like bread with a crust that is soft inside). I found this crust to be floppy, to the point that I questioned if it was fully cooked. I was considering getting the meatball pizza, but went with sausage and onions instead. I can't even imagine how this crust would support a meatball resting on it. Our server was very kind, and attentive. I would have appreciated if the staff had given more guidance to help our party understand the menu, and how they do things. Overall for me, the taste and texture of the pizza is why I gave the rating I did. I am sure the staff will find there way to help deliver great service as they gain tenure. As for the food, If I go back, I will def be trying something other than the pizza. Buon appetito!

Food: the side salad was delicious. The margherita pizza was soggy. So much oil accumulated around the center of the pizza that the crust on the tips of the pizza slices was basically liquified. The pizza had too much oil anyway. I have never been to Naples, but I have rarely come across a margherita pizza with so much oil. The iced tea, no ice, was weak. Service: Attentive, predictive. Excellent. Atmosphere: Nothing special, nothing bad. Uncarpeted floors as usual these days. Might have made the decibel level uncomfortable had the place been packed, which it wasn't around 1500 hrs on Monday.

First time trying this new location. Right amount of seating as the other locations are packed with tables and food comes out rushed. Here, the pizza came out perfect, no sogginess or under-cooked dough. We came later in the evening so we didn't experience waiting or difficulty finding parking so your mileage may vary. there.

After going to Walter Reed first, I decided to try this new location closer to my house to try the food, and surprisingly, it was the same delicious recipe they have in Arlington. I think I'll start eating pizza a little more often.

Tucked away off Slaters Lane and GW Parkway, Pupatella’s is a great local addition. Fun vibe with a good music track, the staff is friendly and efficient. We ordered three pizzas: Caviano (sausage, pepperoni, bacon and provolone), Capricciosa (mushrooms, artichokes, ham and mozzarella) and the Onion Tart (white pizza with caramelized onion. All were gobbled up with the onion tart for the win. Also had the Croccante Salad (spinach with mixed greens, with fried prosciutto di parma, feta, pickled onions and croutons) which was a nice entree salad that was great! Servers (especially Omar) were friendly, upbeat and accurate!! Will happily come again.
