I ordered food for my kids while i was at the ER with my father and then had a doordash driver who got a flat tire. when I contacted the pizza hut who told me that I had to call door dash. after a 20 minute wait on the phone with door dash they put me on hold while they called the pizza hut to get my order replaced. they even gave me an order number and verified the address. then I got a message from a driver saying he was waiting for my food. it never showed up so I text him again and he said that another driver took my order. I called the pizza hut about 6 more times and they never answered the phone so I went into the store on my way home after being at the er for 6 hours with hungry kids at home. the manager said i never called her store and neither did doordash but gave me a refund which was appreciated. if I order from pizza hut then PIZZA HUT should have just called door dash and said they needed another driver and remade my food.they should not be putting the blame on a third party that they choose to work with and as the customer I should not have to deal with doordash unless I ORDERED THROUGH DOOR DASH. they are the ones who partnered with doordash not the customer. I won't be ordering from pizza hut any longer until they stop using doordash. GIVE PIZZA HUT BACK THEIR DRIVERS.
