A few months ago, I ordered two pasta dishes. Both had some noodles that were oddly hard, like they were either undercooked or overcooked. It wasn’t the entire dish, so I brushed it off as a one-time mistake. Today, however, was a different story. I placed an online order for pasta and pizza for pickup. The restaurant called me shortly after placing the order, first to confirm they’d received it (something I’ve never had happen before), and then again a few minutes later because the system apparently didn’t show a pickup time. I told them I’d like it ASAP since I was already on my way, and they said it would be ready in about 15 minutes. While driving there, I got a text saying they needed another 10 minutes due to an issue, but they’d include free baklava to make up for the delay. Fair enough. When I arrived, they told me they didn’t have a lid for my pasta, so it was packaged differently. That’s not a big deal, but when I got home, not only was the promised baklava missing, the pizza was completely burnt. I really wanted to keep supporting Romo’s because when their food is prepared properly, it’s delicious. But after multiple inconsistent and disappointing experiences, I think it’s fair to share my honest feedback so others can be aware.
