- AWAshley WilliamsMay 5, 20261.0I visited this On the Border location today for the first time and drove 30 minutes to get there. I ordered a Taco Salad and the salad was made up of mostly lettuce with a scoop of meat. When I complained about it to the waitress and she went to get the manager. The manager asked me if I wanted her to bring the stuff that goes in the Taco Salad on the side. I've never heard of that. I said no, I want another Taco Salad. Normally restaurants will apologize and take the meal away and make it right not ask you if they want you to bring the stuff on the side to an already lettuce salad. Very bad business. To add insult to injury, the waitress never ID my daughter when she ordered a Margarita. After the Manager noticed she was drinking a Margarita (mind you the drink is almost done) that's when she came over and asked my daughter for her ID. I think that was too little and too late at that point. On the Border, please do better with your service and your staff.

Had a good margarita and good conversation. Smooth and easy. Very good service. Wish I could remember the name of the waiter but it was a guy with curly hair.
