  It is Cinco De Mayo today and Taco Tuesday! Why is this restaurant not fully staffed on this Mexican Holiday. The waiting time for a table was over an hour, they were short of servers, and only one guy to clean tables throughout the entire restaurant! There was not a restaurant manager on the floor! We arrived at approximately 7:04p, we got seated at 7:58pm, we waited for 11 mins to get served water!, we were surrounded by 3 tables with dirty dishes on them the entire time we were seated, the floors needed a spot sweep, they had no more clean silverware available! Finally around 8:23 a waitress came to take our order. She was polite and when we asked why the lack of workers and lack of service, she said the restaurant did not expect such a crowd on this day! What!? It's Cinco De Mayo and Taco Tuesday! After eating, around 9:08pm, it took the server another 15mins to bring our ticket and a to-go box. We were told they ran out of chips, and Mexican rice. Chips came out hot and stale, Mexican rice came out later after we were about done eating. This restaurant is in a prime location near the Parks Mall! They should stay ready!!!! I hope OTB will be prepared for the World Cup crowd that's coming soon!

  I love a good Happy Hour!! 🍹 #FunFact Did you know that On the Border was bought out by Pappas Restaurants last year In May? The quality has changed significantly!!! I was shocked. Their #HappyHour specials are superb! I love their #Margaritas on the rocks of course. A friend recommended we go here to catch up & decompress and I was not disappointed!! 🔥🔥🔥 Their Veggie Quesadilla was onnnnn point. I tore it down before I could ever get a clip! 🤣🤷🏾‍♀️ #ArlingtonTX #OnTheBorder
