  Great spot for date night or as a place to grab a bite after a show. A little on the pricey side, but the food is delicious. We made a reservation for 3 people for 4:30, we showed up 20 minutes early and we were able to be seated right away. The restaurant did fill up as we are out mealz so it definitely gets busy!

  Nice atmosphere and great staff. Food however was disappointing. Chicken Parmesan was overcooked (breading was black) and spaghetti was clearly precooked and not fresh as sauce on noodles was dried out. Tiramisu was frozen… out of the box and not homemade I assume. Disappointing.

  Absolutely delicious Italian in Philly! Me & my bf had such a fantastic meal at this spot! The broccoli pizza was a standout — perfectly charred crust, gooey cheese, fresh broccoli, and that generous drizzle of spicy/creamy sauce on top took it to another level. It was served on a cute raised stand, which made for great photos and even better sharing. The crust had that perfect Neapolitan-style chew with beautiful leopard spotting. We also loved the tortellini/ravioli in the vibrant green pesto sauce with spinach and sun-dried tomatoes. It was rich, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Service was warm and attentive, the restaurant has a cozy, classic Italian vibe with great ambiance, and the portions were generous. Everything tasted fresh and made with care. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Philadelphia. Highly recommend, especially for the pizza and pasta combo!

  Barra rossa does some things great but the service is what I go back for. Definitely check them out sometime! Ask for either Kris or Hannah, they will take great care of you!

  I had a really disappointing experience here recently. I asked if I could order the shrimp risotto as a standalone entrée, and our server confirmed that was fine. When the dish came out, it had salmon on it—which I didn’t order. I sent it back, and instead of remaking it, the kitchen just removed the salmon and returned the same plate. To make things worse, I was still charged $41 for the full entrée. I asked to speak with a manager, but no one came to our table. The only “solution” was offering the salmon to take home, which completely missed the point. Mistakes happen, but how they’re handled matters. This felt careless and poorly managed, especially at that price point. Unfortunately, not a great experience.
