- BFBrooke FMay 13, 20261.0My husband picked up some cake for us. His whiteout cake had undissolved granulated sugar in the frosting. The cake itself was stale. I had a red velvet cupcake which was possibly rancid. The cake was hard, and the frosting (which is usually sweet and light) tasted musty and bland. I used to love this place, but everything we got was really unacceptable.

She charged me for 2 lattes instead of 1 and when I went to the barista to pick it up, he made 2. I only ordered 1 and didn't realize the cashier overcharged me. The barista told me to keep the extra one and go back for the refund. I went back to the cashier for her to correct the transaction. She told me to give her the other coffee back and threw it right in the trash, even though I told her what the other employee said. No apology for overcharging me and the added inconvenience while I had to wait for a manager to perform the refund. Love Magnolias....Hate this location. Won't be back.
