  Tonight’s dinner at Lufen was one of those experiences that reminds you what true hospitality actually feels like. The very first thing that stood out to us was the warmth and care from the moment we walked in. The sommelier immediately greeted us, made us feel welcome, and ensured we were in incredible hands all night long. That first interaction really set the tone for the entire experience. We celebrated a birthday tonight with friends at the chef’s counter, and I genuinely cannot recommend it enough. The experience was interactive, thoughtful, and inspiring. Every member of the team was incredibly knowledgeable and excited to share the vision behind what they were creating. Hearing about the fresh ingredients, the inspiration behind each dish, and the stories that shaped the menu made the food somehow taste even better. What impressed me just as much as the food itself was the team dynamic behind it all. As a business owner and team leader myself, it was inspiring to watch how seamlessly everyone worked together, how much respect they clearly had for one another, and how deeply they cared about the customer experience. The way we felt tonight as guests is exactly how I hope my own clients feel when they work with my team. And honestly, that’s the highest compliment I can give. Thank you for such a memorable, fun, and genuinely inspiring evening. We’ll absolutely be back

  Genuinely one of the best dining experiences :’) like a vacation in a restaurant nestled in the east village, every dish transports you to Thailand, Vietnam, France, etc. Perfect spice levels and the flavors actually pack a punch. Everyone there is also sooo genuinely friendly and real chillers, none of the pretentiousness you usually find at fine dining establishments. Chef Nahid really tells his cultural story through his food and delivers a truly amazing experience. Booked a counter seat for my boyfriend’s birthday and couldn’t have asked for better food & vibes!

  Luthun is an absolute gem of a restaurant! Chef Ahmed and his team never fail to surprise and delight the taste buds. The menu is globally inspired and the dishes are beautifully presented. The service is heart-felt and competent. I can’t wait to go back… again and again!

  Wonderful laid back hospitality and creative dishes. A few home runs (the lamb tartlet) a few near misses (the chicken sausage taco), but everything was interesting and almost everything was really good. Hope these guys continue to do well because I love to see chefs not afraid to take risks. Would come back next time I'm in town for sure.
