  I usually enjoy eating at honeygrow, but I had a frustrating experience recently. We initially ordered bowls and the employee gave us 2 sides per bowl with no issue. Later, when we ordered an additional bowl, I only asked for chili crisps on the side and even offered to pay extra since there’s no option on the website or ordering kiosk to request sides separately. Before even speaking to me, the lady at the register went over to the employee preparing the food and said “no no no” when she saw him about to give the chili crisps on the side. She then came to me with attitude and said, “we can’t keep giving it to you for free,” even though I clearly explained that I was willing to pay for it. I completely understand policies and paying for extras, but the way this was handled felt unnecessarily disrespectful and unprofessional. If customers can’t request sides through the app or kiosk, staff should handle situations like this politely instead of making customers feel uncomfortable for simply asking and offering to pay.

  Eating at the Honeygrow in Hamilton Marketplace was delicious. Everything was cooked just right and sauces were good too!

  I don’t live close to this location and it’s a treat when I am able to stop by. The overall experience is generally very good but I received stand-out service from Sherry this afternoon. She kindly took the time to speak with me regarding a question I had re. a promotion and graciously offered to accommodate it on my behalf. The prevailing attitudes in service can be so disappointing, frustrating and dismissive that the interaction was a definite bright spot. It really spoke to her professionalism, kindness and management/leadership qualities. Also - a great representation of the HG brand. Hope the company realises what an asset she is! Thank you Sherry. Great food, fast, healthy. 10/10 would return.
