  Cocktail drinks and fries were the best things. We didn’t enjoy our entrees: vodka pasta and mrkt fish (salmon). They both were flavorless and bland. As mentioned earlier, we did enjoy the fries. They came with a garlic aioli sauce. It tasted like mayo to me, I didn’t like it. We ordered a passion fruit mojito and henny sidecar. Both were good! Our views were okay but not like other pictures we saw prior to going. We sat closer to the jail next door so we saw inmates in there cell starting out onto the city.

  Has great potential but was a bad experience. Hard to find, wasn’t sure the difference between booth, patio, and dining room when booking. Did dining room, but as soon as we sat down a loud band started playing behind us but we were able to move to a bar top outside. Service was extremely slow even just for non alcoholic drinks. GF and I literally laughed when the food came out because my chicken was the dinkiest thing I’d ever seen but her pasta was huge. I asked to add a protein to the pasta but somehow couldn’t. Waited so long for the check that when he came I just gave him my card without reading it, and forgot they automatically add tip, so tipped again without thinking about it. Realized the next day and called, they said they’d call back and fix it, never did. It’s just run very poorly. But the spot is cool and I’d be willing to pay more for better food and a better experience. But as it sits, definitely not going back.

  I loved it here! The place is so nice and views are great. The food was delicious, drinks were alright, and the toffee cake is soooo delicious!! The staff was so friendly and nice I loved it. I’d recommended it!

  I brought my wife here for a spur of the moment date and we loved it. The chicken thighs had a crispy texture and the asian chili sauce was great with them. The trout dip was a first for us but delicious, the drinks had us though. We had the “Party all the time” and “Calypso’s Potion” at first and then my wife had the “Espresso Yourself”. All 3 tasted amazing and like alcohol instead of water or mixer. The atmosphere was a whole vibe with the dim lights and variety of musical genres playing. The service was great and they pointed out that gratuity was already added so we did not feel pressured to add an extra tip but we did anyways. Overall we can’t wait to come back. See you soon!

  The atmosphere was cute but the employees did not seemed customer focused. Table was dirty and even after asking for it to be wiped down there were spots missed. When I visited it was my birthday but server didn’t ask if there was a special occasion occurring. There were no food menus provided we need to look it up on our phones. The food was mediocre specially for the price. The oysters has barely any meat and overall just okay. Meatballs were cold. The bread provided was a joke it was literally buttered wheat bread… overall horrible experience. The server dropped of the check and made sure to state that gratuity was included as if we weren’t going to tip or he did not care since he was getting tipped regardless. The only pro was the aesthetic of Urban Oak.
