  I have been ordering from GYZ from last few years (at least once a week worth 25-35 $ / order and being next door) and I can say the portion sizes have been on a downward trend. I shifted from Qdoba, Chipotle etc..to here for the freshness, taste (namely sauce options) and portions were decent, but now they are loosing it all. It’s very disappointing to see a good brand go down like this. Someone has to go back to introspect. Sorry GYZ but will shift somewhere else we had a good run thanks!!

  By far the worst place to get a burrito. When I said there is little to no meat in a meat burrito I mean that. Everytime I hope for the best and give this restaurant a try I end up with a burrito stuffed with rice and maybe 4 mini pieces of chicken. This is why restaurants like this fail and this GYG in Schaumburg is terrible. If you ever received a rice burrito when it supposed to have meat. Don’t be afraid to comment.the food isn’t that great. What this place make, you can make at home.

  Fantastic! The food and service were exceptional. This is a great change of pace from Chipotle. Honestly, this is better than Chipotle. The whole experience was delightful! The moment I was walked in the staff were incredibly welcoming. The food came out super quick. The food itself was delicious. The chips themselves were especially great too! I was very satisfied with the meal and my experience. I am excited to go back and to be a patron. Also, a huge shout out to Jesus! He was awesome! He was patient, helpful, considerate, and sincere. He takes pride in his work and it shows. I wish him and the rest of the staff the best. Thank you!

  The breakfast burrito is big and you have choices for ingredients. It was $5.00 for Cinco De Mayo only. Very filling. The green sauce should receive a culinary award. I had the steak burrito and I think the steak could be fire-grilled more and marinated perhaps like Uncle Julios steak they use in there tacos. Guzman y Gomez is my new go-to for breakfast burritos in Schaumburg.

  I gotta say, the food here is just plain good. Everything tasted fresh, had a lot of flavor, and actually filled me up, which doesn’t always happen these days. I’ve been around long enough to know a decent meal when I have one, and this place does it right. Truth be told, I enjoyed it a whole lot more than Chipotle. It’s got that kind of food that sticks with you in a good way. I’ll definitely be coming back again when I get the chance. It felt very welcoming , family vibes type.
