Today I visited Evelyn’s at the Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Fort Lauderdale. The hotel and restaurant are absolutely beautiful, especially the waterfront atmosphere, and when we first arrived everyone was very nice and attentive. We were waiting for the rest of our party to arrive, and because it was Air & Sea Show weekend, parking around the area was packed and extremely expensive. My cousin was trying to ask questions about valet service and pricing so we could decide whether the rest of our group should valet downstairs or continue searching for street parking, however no one could give us an answer right away and we had to ask a few times. Everyone was polite, but the overall interactions throughout brunch felt a little off. Our waitress did try to be accommodating, but something about her tone and facial expressions made it seem like she was annoyed with us most of the time. One of my cousins has significant stomach issues and a lot of dietary restrictions, so she politely asked the waitress to give her a moment to review the menu instead of listing all of her restrictions out loud. The waitress kept insisting, “Tell me your restrictions and we can work around it,” even after my cousin repeatedly asked for a little time to figure it out herself. Eventually she ordered the overnight oats after specifically confirming that it only contained oats and milk, plus bananas added on top. Unfortunately, when the dish arrived it was covered in pumpkin seeds, pomegranate seeds, and several other toppings she could not eat. She had to send it back and ask again for only bananas. There were also several other service mistakes throughout the meal. One cousin ordered avocado toast with eggs, but the eggs never came and she had to wait another 5–10 minutes while the rest of us were already eating. Someone else ordered an unsweetened chai latte with almond milk and instead received a sweetened matcha drink. I ordered an egg omelette with feta and vegetables and while it was delicious, for around $30 it felt pretty underwhelming for the price. I’ve honestly had more impressive brunch dishes elsewhere for half the cost. Another awkward moment happened while I was still eating. I still had food on my plate and was nibbling on the wheat bread I ordered separately when one of the staff members came behind me and removed my plate without asking. Since I was in the middle of a conversation, my cousin quickly asked if I was done and I casually said yes, but I was still eating the bread. The staff member then took the bread basket away too without asking. Again, not the end of the world, but for a Michelin-starred restaurant inside a five-star hotel, I expected a higher level of attentiveness and service etiquette. At many other restaurants, staff will still ask before clearing even an empty plate. At the end of the meal we asked if it would be too much trouble if the bill could be split six ways and were told they could only split it into two checks. Not a huge issue since one cousin paid and we all reimbursed her, but it did feel surprising for a restaurant that likely hosts large groups regularly. That being said, I do want to give credit where it’s due. One of the other waiters, I believe his name was Chris, was wonderful. He happily followed us to the outside terrace and took multiple group photos for us without hesitation and was genuinely warm and accommodating. Overall, the food was good and the setting is gorgeous, but the service experience didn’t quite match the level or pricing you would expect from a Michelin-starred restaurant inside the Four Seasons.

I celebrated my Anniversary with my fiance here and dinner was spectacular. We enjoyed the tasting courses curated by their chef. It was so nice they accommodated my dietary needs so we could both enjoy dinner. Our server Romario was wonderful. He had a fantastic demeanor and style of service, he was welcoming and knowledgeable. Honestly the entire staff was enjoyable, they took pride and care in their treatment of us. I will definitely be coming back for another delicious meal.

Our anniversary dinner at Evelyn’s was truly exceptional. The atmosphere was elegant yet welcoming, and every dish was beautifully crafted and full of flavor. What made the evening unforgettable was Plamen. His service was outstanding, attentive, thoughtful, and genuinely warm. He made us feel special from start to finish, with perfect recommendations and impeccable timing. Evelyn’s delivers both incredible food and top-tier hospitality. Thanks to Plamen, it became a night we won’t forget.

Their normal Buffet not their, it’s just seasonal. Their regular buffet they offered every day was just so delicious with hot choices, and meats, and more. Today’s continental 55 dollar buffet was not worth it period. But my favorite was arguing with the irritating waitress about how much more amazing it is, give me a break, it’s LA Lame. The argument was about getting an egg choice included, and seeing if the meats additional. My husband gasp ordered the omelette and a meat choice wasn’t included. But she said in her superior manor I will add a meat for you. I really wanted to leave and I told her I don’t appreciate you arguing with me trying to sell me on a buffet that is clearly 1/2 the size and not the same experience. So I just ordered avocado toast 20 minutes later I’m still waiting, I guess they had to ripen first in the back. You know I’m the beloved customer fifth time here. Others pay big bucks to own here is it to much to either be consistent on your offerings and place the information clearly in the menu Full Buffet, weekends: Seasonal buffet April to whenever then people know and get a choice. To not waste 125 dollars. Follow Up with Assistant Manager: Evelyn’s at 4 seasons was quick to make things right. I’m now going to actual full and including meat since I’m a diabetic options. Thank you Carlos for hearing me and caring I can’t wait for our Mother’s Day reservations, it will give us a chance to talk about our mothers and perhaps light a candle. After all their never farther away then your heart.

Overall had a good experience. The food was delicious! In particular, we loved the Everglades oysters, burrata, yellowfin tuna kibbeh, and Australian waygu! The plates were impeccably crafted from the fine details of the recipe to the elegant plating. The atmosphere was very pleasant and fitting for the quality of the restaurant. I did have a few issues that evening. I happened to be seated right in the blast zone of the door leading to outdoor seating. Every time someone entered or exited the patio (which was often), I was hit with a huge gust of wind, likely as it was stormy out that night. I also did not have a good experience with our main waiter. He likely meant well, but came off as incredibly condescending and made some odd, judgmental comments about what we were ordering and how much or little we ordered. He spent several minutes in our initial encounter describing how he was going to specifically time our orders to come out staggered only to have all of the small plates come out at the same time with very little room at the table to fit everything. Out of all the wait staff who assisted us this evening, he was also the person who spent the least amount of time (proportionally) with us. Everyone else was incredibly lovely (ex. host, busser, person delivering our food, etc.).
