- AGAustin GraffMay 12, 20264.0For a non-local cafe option, Bluestone Lane is a reasonable option. This Aussie corner cafe has a full food and coffee menu and a few tables for meetings and eating. Staff aren't friendly, but they are efficient. If you visit, use the Metro as street parking can be harder to find.

Naomi and Benji really went above and beyond to make my ordinary coffee experience enjoyable. They were pleasant and funny. Also, Benji was quite informative about bluestone lane coffee. Staff with the bright and cheery demeanor of Eeyore. “How are you doing?” “I’m hanging in there.” At least they’re honest? A permanently “temporarily closed” toilet. The aesthetic of a hospital cafeteria. Across the street is a vibrant little joint with friendly staff, functional bathrooms, great vibes, good eats, and worse coffee. Truly a conundrum. My advice: bring a tumbler. Pour Bluestone coffee in it, and then go sit and have a snack at Coffee Republic.
