About

Mexican Restaurant
At El Diablo, our journey began in 2021 with humble beginnings as a taco food truck, bringing authentic Mexican flavors to the streets of Fort Collins, Colorado. Back then, we were known as El Diablo, and our mission was simple: to serve the best, most flavorful Mexican tacos to our community. Word quickly spread about our delicious tacos, made with fresh ingredients and time-honored recipes, earning us a reputation as the go-to spot for Mexican street food. In response to overwhelming support from our customers, we took the next step in our journey by opening our very first restaurant in Fort Collins. With a passion for delivering an authentic dining experience, our restaurant became a local favorite, offering what many consider the best tacos in town. Fast forward to 2024, and our story continues to grow. We're proud to open our new location in Loveland, Colorado: El Diablo Taco Bar. While we continue to stay true to our roots, bringing authentic Mexican flavors and warm hospitality to each guest, our new taco bar offers an expanded menu and a vibrant dining atmosphere. We're excited to share this new chapter with you as we keep serving up the flavors that have made El Diablo a beloved name.

I recently visited El Diablo with my mom for Mother’s Day. The food was delicious and definitely met our expectations. However, the service was quite disappointing. Our server seemed to be in a bad mood and did not provide the warm, welcoming experience we hoped for on such a special day. To make matters worse, we asked for water, and we had to wait about 20 minutes before it arrived—only to never actually receive it by the end of the meal. Additionally, the gratuity was automatically added at 20%, which took away our ability to decide the tip amount ourselves. Overall, while the food was great, the service definitely left much to be desired. I hope they can improve the customer experience in the future. Edit: The server did not communicate clearly with us at all, including never verbally mentioning that the 20% gratuity had already been added. We only noticed it after looking closely at the check ourselves.

Unfortunately, our experience at El Diablo Mexican Restaurant was disappointing. After we were seated, it took quite a while for someone to come back to our table, and we had to ask for menus ourselves. The service was not very welcoming, and our server did not seem particularly friendly or attentive. The food was also underwhelming, as it was quite bland and lacked flavor. Hot Sauce was not hot as well. We had high hopes, but overall the service and food did not meet our expectations. The good -the Horchata water was good Mike Aka. The Inspector

Food was absolutely horrible and even after letting them know our entire family was not pleased there was no sort of compensation or care given. Honestly I’ve had better Mexican food from a convenience store. Highly encourage others to not waste their money at this place. Yuck!!!!

So this place is not all its cracked up to be. Not only is it highly expensive... One margarita in a tiny glass is $15. But the food is highly over priced. I ordered al pastor, which was bland and no spice at all. We went on Taco Tuesday and was told the variety of tacos for $2.99 ordered tacos listed and was charged $5.50. each. Asked why not what was told to us, only to be told they were not on the Tuesday special. So then I said ok, I have the valuepak 15% off coupon. Can't be used cause its Taco Tuesday special. One special per table, but our tacos "were not on the special" It a joke and a rip off for sub par food. $80 for 6 tacos , 2 margaritas and a green tea. I have definitely had more tasty food that cost way less.

Only one other restaurant comes close to El Diablo. This place is it. We LOVED El Pueblito and we're sad when it left. It was our go-to. We gave El Diablo a try and it was even better! It's been our clear cut #1 for Mexican. All the food is good. The margaritas are delicious! The owners/managers are PHENOMENAL. The servers are super nice. The atmosphere is super-fun. We love it all. 4.5/5 ⭐️'s
