Call it recession, call it the end of eating out, call it HOW TO SINK A SINKING SHIP... We paid 40 bucks for a shared meal of small appetizers, bowl of noodles, and a drink. Please do not take this reference as an insult to not being Asian, but if your taste buds say this food is good, or tasty, or "bomb!!!!!" then you just are not Asian, at least not the kind or Asians that eat out at good Asian restaurants. You probably aren't Asian enough to be able to cook your own Bun, or spring rolls, or grill your own meat to go in your dishes. Call me Sandy but but only SpongeBob can live in food that is loaded in upper limits of sodium cloride. Blame it on my poor choice of having donated a kidney and now being advised to BEWARE OF THE HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE, but I think I can list the 5 items that were not overly seasoned... Vermicelli Noodles themselves, the lettuce n veggies, the shrimp, the spring roll wrappers, and the Thai Tea drink. Believe me, I had to think hard to get to number 5 and I think I cheated by adding the Thai Tea drink as a NOT overly salted item. My apologies again for those who missed the apologies at the beginning to those who "love" this little how in the wall. Don't get me wrong, I commend the proprietors for even dreaming the dream and actually making this hole in those midtown wall. Please do not take this as a put down on your place or business and your living. It may not be the thing for this Asian guy but I do hope and wish your business grows, prospers, and great things happen for you. We all can learn a little from one another and given your vision to start this place from the ground up, I am sure that you can pick out the gems and valuables from my "less than fair" review of my lunch at your shop today. Thank You Mr. Chieng

I love the pork sandwich! They will make it overstuffed which is the only way I go now that I know it's an option. I think it's called a bahn mi? The flavor is perfect and it's bigger than any I've had in the past even when not overstuffed. I know the drinks are good as well they're just not my style so I usually get the sandwich and head on my way as I live fairly close. I continue to go back because it's so good! I'm thankful I live close. I'd travel for this sando! The staff is very helpful both in person and on the phone, they helped me get a discount and always make sure i am 100% satisfied.

These people have neither a restroom nor do they work hygienically. I have witnessed their entire operation with my own eyes—that is why I say this!🤧🤧

My coworker and I came in for lunch. We ordered the spring roll, calamari, and tofu ban mi, and we finished it off with Thai ice tea and Vietnamese ice coffee. All were fabulous!!! We had the privilege to meet Robert, the owner, and he is so amazing! He has a wealth of knowledge inside and outside the restaurant business. I did not know they had a location in Elk Grove. I'm sorry I missed, but I am glad he has a location near Land Park. We look forward to trying the pho next time!
