We went to Cravings Coffee and Pastries this morning because of their 4.7 rating on Google Maps, and honestly… we don’t understand how it’s so high.
The coffee was dangerously hot. Not just “very warm” — actually scorching. One sip and I burned my tongue, gums, and even my throat. My husband had the same experience. Hours later we’re still dealing with pain and discomfort, and it’ll likely take a couple of days to recover. We had to throw both coffees away immediately. This isn’t just bad coffee — it’s a safety issue. The person operating the machine clearly needs proper training, and ultimately this falls on management.
The only positive was the pastries — they were fresh and genuinely good. Whoever is baking them knows what they’re doing.
The space itself is also not great. Very limited seating, not particularly inviting, and strangely there’s a hairdresser operating inside the same place, which felt completely out of place. On top of that, the smell inside wasn’t pleasant, and after just a few minutes our clothes picked up that odor.
Overall, a very disappointing (and honestly concerning) experience. Definitely not worth the rating.
