The fish is served hot and fresh. I love the little hush puppies. If you’re craving some tasty and fried fish look no farther. I know it’s fast food but sometimes you just have to have it. We were so hungry I forgot to take photos of the food. We had fried fish - Hush Puppies- and Crab Cakes. All were served hot and fresh. I will be back for sure! 👍

Although my spouse is a prior employee from back in her early twenties and loves the place, so we came in for a meal I had a fish sandwich and hush puppies. For my mail the fish sandwich was wonderful hush puppies were terrible! Dry and no flavor.

Then the announcement came that it would be rebuilt and the excitement was everywhere! The new building is modern (bummer... I'm GenX and we like our nostalgia) and very clean. The staff is crazy friendly and so helpful. The food is fresh and classically tasty. My only complaint is the location, as has been the case for a very long time, is difficult to enter and exit from depending on the direction you are coming and going. Yes, it is LJS, and yes, I am a proud member of that "secret society" that happily and proudly keeps them in business.
