It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

    17 minutes for a milkshake. To top it all off I got handed a large MELTED vanilla milkshake. People with actual food ended up getting their order first before we did. Wouldn’t be surprised if they made my milkshake as soon as I ordered and just left it sitting there to deal with other customers. But that’s the thing, I only got ONE milkshake, it shouldn’t have taken 17 minutes at all. I used to work at a whataburger and all you have to do is pull a lever down and you got a milkshake. I can’t imagine how long it would have taken if I asked for one with flavor. ridiculous. The management here has always lacked at doing a good job. No wonder they run through managers at this location. Just go to another whataburger cause this location really does suck.
