Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Customer service experiences varied significantly, with some employees praised for their friendliness and attentiveness, while others were criticized for being rude or inattentive.
Speed of Service
Many customers reported long wait times for food, both in the drive-thru and inside the restaurant, leading to frustration.
Food Quality
There were mixed reviews on food quality, with some customers enjoying fresh and tasty meals, while others received cold or incorrect orders.
Cleanliness
The cleanliness of the restaurant received positive feedback, although there were isolated complaints about unsanitary conditions.

This establishment consistently delivers exceptional customer service, maintains a pristine environment, and serves hot, fresh food. I consistently request gravy for my fries.

This location is open 24 hours a day. I understand that it was 3 AM when I arrived to order my food however, that is no excuse for what I got when I got home. The meat on my burger. Looked like it’s been sitting somewhere for hours and dried out. I ordered a Sprite. I got carbonated water and my french fries were old. Also this is very disheartening as I frequent Whataburger a lot, and this experience was horrible. I literally paid for something that I just threw it in the trash because it was inedible.

Too many people working in the back, need someone to manage the dining area. There wasn't any sweet tea, no straws and someone waste a drink on the floor and took them at least 15 minutes to clean it up. Now if someone would have hurt themselves, then it would've been a different story. And why do it take so long for you to get your food. I ordered a #2, I couldn't eat it because it too much salt on the patties. I would suggest the order taker to ask is you like salt on your burger or fries. I didn't know that they put salt on the meat patties. Ijs! Fix it pls...

Dacian, a trainer there, truly made the experience amazing. He served my whole family with kindness, made my nieces and nephews laugh, and provided us with our food in a timely manner. He deserves a raise for the way he cheered up my family and showed true customer service!

I feel like this girl Tiwa (Cealy from color purple) played with our food and drinks last night I ordered our food. She was very rude and disrespectful to the PA system. When I got to the window I tried to remain humble, and I realized that the customer service is just not was going to be good. We received our food and when I got home, only one of my sandwiches was in the bag and the large drink that I ordered, which was Arnold Palmer it seems as if she makes a soft drink with lemonade maybe root beer lemonade I will be reaching out to the corporate managers today because I feel like she was playing with our food and that is just not right I would advise anyone not to go to this location. I was going to eat my fries, but being that my sandwich was missing and I feel like my drinks have been tampered with I refuse to eat anything. I will continue to make a Google review every day until Whataburger reaches out to me and does something rectify this because this young lady is gonna cause for this company to get a lawsuit. The disrespectful part is when I asked her if me or my family had did anything to upset her, she said no, with a very grim and mischievous smile on her face that was so disrespectful that it made me upset to the point where I could not even walk in the store because I was not sure that I was going to be able to communicate without yelling or using profanity so I decided to leave that young lady should not be working at the window directly with the customer. She definitely needs training in customer service but I promise I will not let up. I will contact every family member and Friend. I have to do a review on the store every day.
