  This place has become a joke. Been going to this restaurant for 20+ years. It was alway top notch. Let me start with the hostess. We Arrived by 10 minutes early to the restroom. It was still closed. I tried the door not realizing what times it was. She came out and basically barked at me that they weren’t open yet. Wasn’t that big of a deal. Then she proceeded to give my wife attitude when my daughter asked for an extra coloring Menu. She rolled her eyes and Proceeded to sigh The waitress was not any better. Just rude and courteous. Basically through our drinks on the table. Brought her food out my fajitas did not have no sizzle. It took over 30 minutes for our food to get to the table. I don’t know how a hot plate of fajitas leaves the kitchen with no sizzle, and then the waitress fix it and put them on the table not realizing there was no sizzle. We didn’t see very much of our waitress because she was busy talking to other weight staff. When the papas restaurants happen to make a mistake, usually the manager will come out and apologize and check if everything was good. Unfortunately, it didn’t happen. The manager was walking around, but all he cared about was talking to white staff about football today. This is the second time we have had prompts of this particular restaurant. I made it very clear to the floor manager that I will be contacting our corporate office in the morning. No wonder the restaurant is halfway empty for lunch nowadays.

  Corey was our server on Jan. 07, 2026. He provided excellent service, was professional and very welcoming. He made our visit very relaxed and enjoyable. We did not have to wait for him to come around or look out for him to get service. He was checking on us and our glasses were being filled when they were getting low. He is one if the best servers we have ever had serve us. He really stands out.(Top notch Professional Waiter) Great job Corey!!!

  My husband and I visited Pappasito’s Cantina in Sugar Land to celebrate our anniversary. While we were dining inside, our vehicle was broken into in the parking lot and personal items were stolen. The Sugar Land Police Department informed us this was the second break-in reported in the same spot within an hour. What was especially concerning was that on-site security later acknowledged seeing individuals lingering around our vehicle beforehand but did not alert management or guests. Management offered a gift card, which we declined. The larger concern is the lack of effective security response and communication despite suspicious activity and repeat incidents. This experience has seriously impacted our confidence in the safety procedures at this location

  If you are looking for a TexMex stop, Pappasito’s Cantina is an old faithful and true. It’s always a safe bet for anyone looking for good service, great quality food, at a fair price. Service was awesome. They were consistent and continuously checked up on us. Very friendly and attentive. Food came out quick and without any issues. If you order the fajitas today, I can promise you they will still have the same flavor, soft & tenderness years later on a return visit. This location just like many of the Papas brands stay busy even during off peak hours. There’s a reason for that, it’s good, consistent, and great service. You can’t go wrong with Papas brands.   Been here many times and felt like writing a review now. Service was wonderful. Fajita meat is very tender and delicious! My kids complained it was a bit spicy after a few bites but it was fine for me lol. I love how thin the tortilla chips are and I like how the tortillas are made fresh. There was a time our table ordered the ceviche and it tasted a bit spoiled to me but my friend (whose gut is immune to everything) said it was fine. However, I wouldn't order that again. Queso is good...I like it with the fajita tacos. I also feel that their chairs are way too slippery. My kids kept sliding in them and it was hard to seat myself properly.
