An amazing new find in Southlake! Jordan was our server and he was amazing. He gave great suggestions for cocktails and food. This place feels like a hidden speakeasy and is a great find. The decor and setting is very intimate and this is a lovely place. Cocktails were fantastic and appetizers and food was great!

Had a great time at Volstead in Southlake! Will, our waiter, was really friendly and took great care of us. The cheeseburger was amazing and the truffle fries were delicious. Definitely coming back for the awesome food and service!

Great place for a bite to eat and cocktail. The burger is a classic double smash burger. I enjoyed it very much. The shoestring fries were cooked and seasoned well. Both cocktail I had were well crafted. The bartenders were friendly and quick with service. Overall it was a really good experience.

The food and service were great. However, I met a friend, sat at the bar, ordered dinner and drinks. The bartender and the host gentleman kept turning up the music so loud on certain songs that we couldn't even hear each other talking and we were sitting right next to each other. We even kindly asked if they could turn the music down just a bit.....but we were ignored. I will probably not go back because of the excessively loud music. I love music, but when you are at a restaurant, most of the time you would like to enjoy conversation with your friends. It felt like we were in a club with excessively loud music......

We me friends for dinner and we’re excited for a speak easy experience. The vibe was amazing. The music choice was a little weird; since it was a speak easy I wasn’t expecting to hear country and pop hits, but I guess you have to appeal to the masses. (Not that I mind country or pop, it’s just not what I expect for a prohibition era speak easy vibe) It was pretty crowded for a random Tuesday night. The acoustics make it quite loud. But overall the vibe or A+. Our server was amazing. The runners were another story. I’m not sure who was confused, but every drink or food item was placed in front of the wrong person. And they didn’t even try to verify, they just plopped the plate down. My fiancé ordered a martini, and even the 2nd one was put in front of me - even though he had an empty martini glass in front of him and I had a full Old Fashioned in front of me. So that was pretty irritating. They didn’t care at all that they weren’t getting it right. The food was ok. I wouldn’t call it “bar food”, but it’s not great food. My fries were overcooked to the point of being shoes string potatoes that you buy in a can. They were crunchy to a fault. My fiancés fries were fine. The sauce on my steak was a bit gummy. The steak was perfectly cooked. The spinach artichoke dip was good. The deviled eggs weren’t my thing, but everyone else liked them. I would go back for drinks and apps.
