I'm a breakfast person so I like my eggs cooked as ordered, my pancakes not forgotten blobs on the grill and everything to taste "prepared" well. This place hits the spot. Melt in your mouth churro donuts. They are sweet as intended so be aware. Pancakes are perfection and buttery, flaky biscuits. I have not had lunch options here so I can't speak on that but for a breakfast spot, it's a little pricey but worth it to me.

It was packed the food was OK but they gave us the table from outside that is OK if not 35 minute waitlist and with a toddler is not an option. The outside tables are really uncomfortable, the umbrella that covers it didn’t cover at all the sun. And when the food arrived it was cold and the flies started flying around our food they brought the thing that spins but didn’t work so we have to deal with it. The food was ready in a short time but as well as the coffee was cold. So if you go there don’t try to eat outside it’s uncomfortable to sit and to eat.

I’ve been genuinely excited about this new café and have recommended it to family and friends based on consistently great experiences at the Victoria, TX location.
On New Year’s Day, we expected a wait and checked in at the kiosk without issue, understanding we were far back in line (45th) and fully prepared to be patient. However, the experience became confusing when the staff member acting as hostess shared that she was unsure how to operate the kiosk and then informed several guests in the lobby that food wait times were significantly longer than expected due to staffing shortages.
I’m hopeful this was just an opening phase hiccup and look forward to seeing this location reach the same standard of excellence I’ve come to expect from the brand. Today, it became the Toasted Joke in my book!

Came in for the first time on a weekday morning to try out the new restaurant. Asked the waitress her recommendations. She said the churro donuts were too sweet so we ordered the blueberry ones. They just didn’t hit the mark. Wouldn’t order them again.
I had a breakfast burrito smothered in cheese and pico. I asked for bacon instead of sausage for the meat and the waitress uncharged for this even though it was a sub meat item. I didn’t get both. I just got one. The manager corrected it. Shouldn’t have had to bother asking about this. I would get the burrito again. The shell was cold and it just didn’t work for a $16 price tag.
We also ordered the west coast Arnold, which was good.
Very expensive. Wouldn’t come back. If I did come back, I’d try the Arnold. But for $17.29 I just wouldn’t go back for it. Too expensive for the area
And quantity/quality.
Our total bill was around $55.

I genuinely wish I could give this location a zero-star rating, but since Google doesn’t allow that, one star it is.From the moment we were seated, the experience went downhill fast. Our waitress was rude right out of the gate—no greeting, no professionalism, no basic courtesy. She slammed the water cups on our table, not placed them, slammed them, and her demeanor felt openly hostile. Her body language and facial expression made it seem like she was irritated by our mere presence, to the point where it honestly felt uncomfortable and borderline aggressive. Dining out should never feel tense or confrontational, and yet that’s exactly how this started.Given how uncomfortable the situation felt, I spoke with management. While the manager did acknowledge the issue, the response was disappointing and inadequate. The proposed solution was simply to move us to another table and switch waitresses. That may sound fine on the surface, but it completely missed the point. The issue wasn’t the table—it was staff behavior that should never be tolerated in the first place.
What was even more concerning was the manager’s demeanor. He appeared hesitant and almost intimidated by his own staff, as if he didn’t have the authority or willingness to properly address the situation. There was no apology that felt sincere, no assurance that this behavior would be corrected, and no sense of accountability. It gave the impression that this type of conduct may be accepted or at least overlooked here, which is troubling.Customer service sets the tone for an establishment, and this experience showed a serious breakdown—both on the floor and at the management level. A restaurant can have good food, but if guests are treated with disrespect or made to feel unwelcome, none of that matters.
I won’t be returning to this location, and I would caution others who expect basic professionalism and a comfortable dining environment. This experience fell far below acceptable standards.
