  Today's review is only a one star rice was too spicy for kids to eat. It is usually pretty good not spicy. So was the shrimp. Also didn't know that shrimp doesn't get defined. Other than that waitress was fabulous.

  My server was Jennifer & she was helpful and attentive, even though it was busy. The dish I had was the special rice. It was delicious, filling and plenty for me to share & or have lunch/dinner for a couple days.

  Todo estuvo de maravilla! El servicio de la bruja Christina (disfraz de halloween) estuvo genial! La comida riquísima! Las empanadas y el caldo de mariscos igual al que recuerdo de pequeño en el campo de pesca de mi familia. Y con la música dan ganas de bailar! Definitivamente regreso!

  Veronica Morgan’s was under pressure new restaurant new staff new customers. I put her to the test with one order taking longer than expected. She handled her self beautifully. The staff went above and beyond. I’d like to say thank you to the team first off for a great night you guys were awsome and Mambo !!! Thank you for giving the westside a chance we appreciate the move. Bienvenidos you are truly going to be a beautiful part of nuestro familia!!!!!

  The food was good but just not my flavor profile. I had the 2 fish with shrimp plate. The shrimp was good. The rice was also good. The fried fish was not bad, it just wasn't the kind of taste that I like. I asked the manager what kind of fish it was. She was very honest and said that, they use BASA, which is an accepted foreign substitute fish verses native fish caught off U.S. coastal waters. I think even H.E.B. sells it. Just not my personal liking. I asked for some lemonade to drink since it was fresh squeezed. Again, not bad, just not my kind of taste. I ordered some tea instead, delicious! You would be surprised at how many restaurants do not know how to make a simple glass of ice tea. The service was outstanding. I cannot comment on the rest of the items on their menu since I haven't tried them yet. Overall a good dining experience.
