  Best coffee in downtown San Antonio!!! Freshly ground coffee beans make all the difference, the staff was incredible, they described what was in their signature coffee like the Swanky (a Mocha, hazelnut & caramel flavor), and The Whimsey. I was there early which made it easy to order and get my coffee without the wait. The prices are great considering the great quality of coffee. The atmosphere is awesome, plenty of comfortable booths to sit and enjoy your coffee. The pastries looked delicious but unfortunately I did not try them. Located very close to the Alamo and the River walk as well as the iconic The Menger and the Emily Morgan Hotel. This coffee lounge is out of this world a great way to get your day started.

  Ordered this "lavender drink" mostly ice, tastes like cough syrup. Baristas were more interested in their own conversations than listening to customers orders. Didn't ask if I was a reward member and skipped me typing in my phone number and I didn't get any points for my purchase

  My drink was more than half ice, they didn't ask if I have rewards, and as I was entering in the rewards # the screen disappeared, and they told me that I would have to be charged again and refunded to apply the points. The three ladies seemed more interested in speaking amongst themselves about being realtors or apartment hunting. Good service recovery would have been to offer to make my drink correctly. I left a tip, but it was not deserved unfortunately.

  I really enjoyed my drink that i purchased here recently. It was before 8 am, and Archie’s was open. I ordered the plant based caffeine drink. I loved all the creative and delicious sounding flavors available. I ordered one of the berry flavors and it did not disappoint. The flavor was on point, and the amount of caffeine in the drink was perfect for that morning. The prices were reasonable and i LOVED the mini ice cubes in the drink! If i’m back in San Antonio, I’ll be sure to try it again!

  Coffee Shop No. 516 Archies Fine Coffee San Antonio, TX June 13, 2025 A smile can go a long way… I was excited walking in, but the vibe shifted during my interaction with the baristas—they weren’t particularly friendly, even though I was the only one in line. Maybe it was just an off day. I smiled, wished them well, and ordered a cortado. After two sips, I set it aside—not because it was bad, but because the energy didn’t sit right with me. My money was already spent, but my day wasn’t, so I moved on to the next coffee shop. Enjoying life one cortado at a time! (With or without hospitality)
