Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Customers frequently reported long wait times, often exceeding 20 minutes, particularly in the drive-thru and curbside service.

Ordered food last night asked for grilled onions on two burger we got raw onions! We order an extra large order of fries never got those in are bag.. Would have said something but got home and found they were not in the bag. Also didn’t get spicy ketsup. We went through the dive though and we were second in line it took like 20 minutes!
Very disappointing since I went with my daughter’s family. They need to double check their orders!

Went through the drive thru to grab something quick Mille at the drive thru was very rude from when I took my order. I asked for a straw cause she didn't hand me one and she said I already put it in the bag and then when she was hitting my stuff, barely even reached out the window to hand me my stuff. Was very rude will not recommend going there in the morning!

probably the worst customer service i’ve had and it’s barely the start of the year. i came here around 6:45 and went to order inside with my family. i couldn’t tell what the price was for a spicy chicken meal on the menu so i asked the only person at the counter who’s cleaning trays, by the name of Matthew, who was standing there what the price was and he looked at me confused and said “what do you mean what’s the price for number 12” and i said “yeah like i just see one is that for the meal or just the sandwich” and he says “the price is here” which said it under the sandwich and then points to the TINIEST text under the whatachick’n part of the menu where it says “meals 10-14 served with medium fries and medium drink.” and i said “oh okay gotcha” and then he calls someone else over to take my order. anyway the other man takes my order and then walks away, doesn’t give me my receipt at all. then my boyfriend behind me ordered and another man comes up who appears to be the manager, didn’t catch his name but he’s an older and bigger white man, to take his order but he grabs my receipt and looks around and then looks at me and i say “that’s mine” and he looks me dead in the eyes and crumbles it up and throws it away. then when i get my food theres bits of meat on the buns on both sides and an onion piece on the bottom too. i don’t eat burgers which is why i got the chicken so i don’t understand why theres so many small pieces of meat on my food. it tasted fine in my opinion but then my sister in law got her food and it was the flattest burger we’d ever seen, hardly any of the sauces on it. and while she was ordering she asked how much a cup of ranch was and the “manager” said it was an extra 40¢ so she said “oh no i’m fine then.” and he goes “cmon nowww”, trying to pressure her into buying it when she clearly said no the first time. then i asked for a to go bag on the way out because we were all upset by the experience we just wanted to leave and i went up to Matthew again, he seemed in a daze and confused that i asked for another thing from him. he turns around to go get a bag and the “manager” appears behind him to put an order on the shelf behind them and Matthew takes a step back to avoid bumping into him and the manager gives him the nastiest look as if he was gonna bump into him on purpose. then Matthew says “geez sorry man” and the manager walks away laughing ?? i don’t get what’s funny and i don’t know their boss/employee dynamic so that could be how they joke, but Matthew was not laughing at all. then the man who originally took my order (forgive me i did not catch his name, but he was the only one doing his job correctly), hands me a bag WHILE taking another customer’s order. and i say “thank you so much” and go to put my food away and then not even thirty second later Matthew comes up with one of the big to go bags and i tell him it’s okay i already got one and he just sighs and looks so defeated. he apologizes and says he isn’t having the best day and that he has a headache, but that he doesn’t want to take it out on us as the customers and says that he hopes that we have a good day.
overall i think this establishment either needs to train their employees/managers better or find some way to boost morale. because the way we were treated tonight was very unjust and unacceptable. i feel for Matthew as a former fast food employee but at the end of the day you can’t talk to customers that way no matter how you’re feeling and ESPECIALLY if they aren’t being rude or trying to make your job harder. and that “manager” was extremely rude and disrespectful towards my family and i. i strongly suggest he gets retrained as well. pressing customers to get a FOURTY CENT sauce is insane and unhinged behavior, and being rude to your own employees is even worse considering he sees them all day, every day. i hope you guys are reading this and actually do a better job in the future.

The sweetest older gentleman, Paul, brought me out my drink while I was waiting for my food in curbside. Normally I avoid this location cause there's been times I will wait almost 30 minutes for my food at night when there's not any kind of rush but knowing day shift has better employees I'm glad to start coming here again. Food came out like 8 minutes from ordering as well. Definitely will be back.

Wait time in drive thru is ridiculous at all hours. Took 8mins for someone to even say hi in the intercom lane 2 while lane 1 kept moving. Then once I told them my drive thru order name for pick up took 33mins in line. Then had to get off because they forgot my order. All the while I have 4 kids in my car and only reason why I did drive thru. Horrible service. Lady rolled her eyes at me twice. Very disappointed since it's a go to for work lunch. The man that finally gave me my order was an elderly man that worked the drive thru and he was the only nice one.
