I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Imperial Restaurant! The food was delicious, and the service was exceptional. We tried the Biryani, Samosa, and Chicken 65, and every dish was bursting with authentic flavor and perfectly cooked. A special shoutout to Bhagyashree for her outstanding service

Authentic Hyderabadi Dum Mutton Biryani & Chicken 65 — Absolutely Loved It! If you’re craving true Hyderabadi flavors, this place is a must-try! The mutton biryani was cooked perfectly — the meat was tender, juicy, and came right off the bone. The rice had that signature dum aroma, with every grain packed with flavor and spice just right — not too strong, not too mild. The Chicken 65 was another highlight — crispy on the outside, soft inside, and had that perfect balance of tangy, spicy masala. Tastes just like the ones you get back home in Hyderabad! Portions were generous, service was quick, and the biryani came piping hot — exactly how it should be. Definitely going back for more. Highly recommended for anyone who loves authentic Hyderabadi biryani and fried chicken.

I recently visited Imperial Indian Restaurant with a few friends for lunch, and honestly, it was quite a disappointing experience overall. We ordered Mutton Biryani, Chicken Mandi, and Paya Soup, expecting a good Indian meal, but most of the items didn’t meet the mark. Starting with the Paya Soup, it was priced around $20, which is extremely high for what was served. The portion was huge, but it was almost 80% oil and only 20% soup, making it very difficult to eat or even enjoy. The presentation was poor too — it came in a rectangular container that wasn’t practical for dining in. The taste and texture didn’t justify the price at all. I’d rate it 2/5 at best. The Chicken Mandi was average. The rice flavor was okay, but the chicken pieces lacked proper seasoning and didn’t have much taste. It felt like the meat wasn’t marinated enough. I’d give it around 3/5. The Mutton Biryani was another letdown — there were only a few pieces of mutton, and while the biryani had some aroma, the overall flavor was just fine, not special. I’d rate it 2.5/5. Beyond the food, the cleanliness and service also left a bad impression. The tables were not cleaned even though the restaurant wasn’t busy — there were only about six to eight people dining at the time. We had to wait quite a while before someone came to wipe the table, which shouldn’t happen in a nearly empty restaurant. Overall, this was one of the least enjoyable dining experiences we’ve had around the Dallas area. With better hygiene, reasonable pricing, and more attention to food quality, this place could improve a lot. But as of now, I’d only rate it around 2.5/5 and wouldn’t recommend it for those expecting a satisfying Indian meal.
