Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Ordered berry refresher drinks to take home. Got held up at the food window after I paid because my order wasn't in the system anymore by the time I got to the next window. Had to give my receipt back just for them to make my drinks wrong and then tell me it's the way the drink comes. Since it's a little late and I don't want to go back and fourth about drinks i Take the drinks home I've been telling my wife about all day. Take one sip and it tastes like lemon juice. No sweetness at all.

Former employee here, so I know exactly how simple this job is supposed to be. Which is why I’m blown away that the night shift still manages to botch the most basic instructions sitting right in front of their faces. I just got my order from 3rd shift, and it was a parade of “did anyone bother to read the screen?” levels of wrong. First, I’m allergic to onions. So when I select NO ONION, and the screen literally screams it in all caps, maybe don’t shovel a fistful of onions onto my burger like you’re trying to test my life insurance policy. It’s not rocket science. It’s reading. Next issue: “Sub mayo” is not a new ancient riddle. It means take the mustard off and replace it with mayo, plus add ketchup. Yet somehow, my burger was drowning in mustard, with none of what I actually asked (and paid) for. It’s like the crew looked at the instructions and said “Nah, I’ll just do whatever.” My wife’s cheeseburger? Paid the extra 50 cents for the cheese, but apparently cheese is now optional? I could’ve made a better burger at my house. Next time I will. Honestly, the night shift seems allergic to reading. Past 10 PM, my order being correct is a 3 out of 10 miracle. If the monitor is too much work, maybe handwritten flashcards would help. At this point, the only thing you haven’t consistently ruined is the shakes. And that’s only because there are like three steps and no vegetables to sabotage. But even then, waiting half an hour for people to remember they’re on the clock is equally exhausting. Do better. Or at least learn to read the giant screen that literally tells you what to make.

Took 15 minutes to take my order and took 10 minutes to get my food and it was still wrong. Should never have to wait 25 min for food at a fast food places.

Places a mobile order and did curbside pickup. Waited over 40 minutes until my husband decided to go inside and ask. They told him someone had taken our order. Very bad management. Seems like they don't know what they are doing and they seem to be short staff as well. Never will come again!!
