Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

    We placed an online order for curbside at this location, set to pick up prior to midnight. After over 30 minutes of waiting, we called the restaurant to make sure our order was received and the man on the phone was rude in response saying curbside closed at midnight. However the app let us place the order and it was set to be ready prior to midnight. The employees tone was rude and when they came out to give our food when we came through the drive-thru, the employee did not say anything nor respond. It was very unprofessional and as the order was placed and set to be ready prior to midnight, I was upset that our orders were instead ignored.

    I went in to get a meal. Everything was fine Savion was great. But apparently my order and my named pissed the stud that was flipping the patties off for whatever reason she had to let the whole restaurant she felt someway. I usually stop at this location on the way home. And have no problems. But everything is bound to change.

    When I pulled up, I was the only one in the drive-through. After paying for my order, I was told to pull forward. I sat pulled forward for 14 minutes as the four people behind me pulled up paid for their food and left. Then an employee came out and asked if I was ok. I said yes I’m waiting for my food. Then they had an oops look on their face. Then two minutes later they brought my food out, cold and smashed in a bag. So I waited a total of 16 minutes after being the only person that was originally in line. This is unacceptable on a Wednesday late afternoon. If it was a weekend night and I was waiting behind a bunch of cars, I would have no problem waiting 20 minutes in the drive-through. But if I’m the only person in the drive-through and you take care of four people behind me with huge bags of food that they didn’t pre-order that I saw them actually pay through the window then 16 minutes later bring out my food. All smashed and cold is unacceptable.
