Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Went there for late dinner last night, tried their new Frosted Berry drink and it was soo good & if you haven’t had their spicy chicken sandwich with cheese on Texas Toast, you’re missing out!

It’s 31st night, and while everyone else was out enjoying WAB team are working with smiles on their faces. I was picking up my friend from the airport. He was very hungry, so I stopped at this place and wow! What a welcoming, smiling team. I realized something important: if you want to enjoy, you can do it anywhere, in any situation and they proved it❤️God bless them all. Happy New Year! The burger team is amazing. The store is clean, and the food tastes as good as their smiles😁

I went with my family and we all got different types of food, we all got fry food and we all went home after eating. After an hour we all started to get stomach pain. I almost threw up twice. So we all basically got food poisoning from this location. My wife rushed to the toilet after her stomach was hurting non stop. My cousin was staying near the toilet due to the pain, I was right next to him due to the nausea.

Total crap. Ordered on app 5 chick strip. All size of a nugget not strips. Ordered ketchup got none. Ordered bbq sauce. Got none. I accidently went to wrong place and the manager APOLOGIZED i had to go to this whataburger. Literally saying they suck. She was right

Just wanted to give a shout out to Tyler at Whataburger for his infectious smile and very positive attitude!
We all dine out, right? You don't ever really expect high quality customer service - except MAYBE at Chick-fil-A - from fast food. So when it happens, it just makes your friggin day. Am I right? It's such a nice surprise! Like when two bags of chips fall in the vending machine! Like when you go thru town and all the lights are green! Like when you get flowers and it's not your birthday!
Our visit to Whataburger, after being on the road for 2 hours with another 2 hours to go, was a spur of the moment quick decision. And it was a little out of the way. But, SURPRISE!! it was worth it. The burgers were fantastic, the fries were killer, those awesome 75th Anniversary cups are amazing, and Tyler's outstanding customer service was fire. He needs a raise. Right now!
