It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- BBBirdepeacockSep 20, 20241.0I'm an avid Whataburger lover, I use curbside in AP and at various locations in Corpus. I've had minor issues before for sure. But this was the first and probably only time I use curbside in Ingleside. Manager was rude, woman in the front register was rude snatching my bag back from me. But let me start at the beginning. Ordered 4 items for curbside at 1:10ish pm. It was supposed to be ready between 1:26-1:29pm. I arrived at 1:30pm. I waited until 1:45 while my 4year old daughter was getting increasingly frustrated with 'just sitting here!?!'. We start to head inside when a worker is coming out with 2 bags and 8drinks. I hold the door open for her and she walks to my car. I walk over thinking one bag must be mine kicking myself for being impatient. Well it wasn't mine. it was for the woman next to me who drove up as I was getting my kid out the car. Ok whatever they were working on her massive order. I go inside. Kid is still pissy. I walk to the counter and say "I was just checking on my curbside order we've been waiting a long time." A different woman is walking up at that time and she takes over. Walks to the corner of a counter and grabs a soggy looking bag and passes it to woman #1 who hands it to me-but woman#2 snatches it from us before I even get to look at it. She looks at it and says it's missing a burger. I'm so upset by her snatching my food because I am starving at this point (30minutes after I was expecting to eat when I was already past my usual lunch time) I say I want a refund and they just say I have to do it on the app. I say I don't know how and to show me. She said she didn't know I ask for manager he tries but doesn't know how. I'm standing there for idk how long till they say I have to call. I leave without my food and without my refund. I'm disappointed but mostly appalled that the woman snatched my food from me.

Now I've just been informed that my order "got bumped. But that's OK cause now we're making it so it'll be fresh" Just watch a white shirt lady collect bathroom trash and walk it through the kitchen.
