  Hoy fui con mi familia comer pero desgraciadamente la empleada estaba de malas y nos dijo que fuéramos a otro resaraurante xq ella tenía 3 órdenes antes q nosotros, dijimos no habría problemas, q pifiamos esperar, todo iba bien hasta a explotó xq se lastimó un dedo o creo q se rompió una uña (postiza) y dijo q nos fuéramos a otro restaurante mi hijo dijo le diera su nombre y ella dijo q no era obligación dárselo y q llamaría a la policía si no nos íbamos , mis nietos tenían mucha hambre y tuvimos q irnos 🥲

  Today at approximately 12:15 PM, my family and I visited the Subway located at 2325 Bay Area Blvd, Houston, TX 77058. When we arrived, one employee was finishing up with a customer ahead of us. Afterward, she informed us that she had three online orders to complete and asked if we were willing to wait. We agreed without any issue. As she began working on the online orders, she appeared visibly stressed. At one point, she chipped a piece of her nail while using the oven/toaster. Shortly after, she turned toward us and, in an angry and unprofessional tone, told us that she could not help us and that we should go to another Subway location on Bay Area Blvd or El Dorado. I questioned why we needed to go elsewhere when this is our local Subway, which seemed to further upset her. When I asked for her name, she stated she was not allowed to provide it due to company policy. I then asked if I could take a picture of the QR code to leave a review, and she responded by saying that if I took any pictures of her or the restaurant, she would call the police. To be clear: • It is not the customer’s fault that only one employee was scheduled and overwhelmed. • Employees working in food establishments should not have long nails, as this is unsanitary and a concern according to health department standards—especially when a nail breaks while preparing food. • Situations like this require a manager on duty to help de-escalate and properly manage customer service. This experience was extremely disappointing. I hope management addresses staffing, professionalism, food safety, and leadership presence, as this location is meant to serve the local community.
