You'd never guess as it's located next to a fine dining establishment, but this gem is worth the visit!!! As for Chef Jason, as he just transferred not too long ago from Las Vegas! He has some great ideas should you require it!!

The wagyu empanadas were a big letdown. The pastry was kind of dry and the filling was bland. The veal was pounded too thin and it was like eating more breading than meat. My chicken parm was pretty good, well cooked and seasoned properly with the right amount of cheese one top. The bread pudding had a great consistency but flavor wise it fell short. Nice atmosphere and great service.

We stumbled across this gem on our last night in town ( otherwise we would have dined here more than once!)
Every employee did a fabulous job of greeting, seating, and answering questions.
As someone who is gluten free, a predominantly Italian menu can be difficult, however, both gluten free crust and pasta was available. The sous chef, Jason personally delivered our dishes, confirmed the pasta was gf and cooked in separate pan/ water. ( And checked back on us during our meal) I had the chicken pesto pasta and it was fantastic! It had additional vegetable zoodles and tiny okra pieces. So unique and delicious. Spouse had fire roasted Buffalo pizza and he said he’d love to return and try more items. Prices reasonable for the city. Great way to end our Houston stay!
