  We arrived as a party of three on a Saturday evening at about 6pm. It was very inviting and there was no wait for our table. The restrooms were clean and had ample paper towels and soap. I ordered the salmon bites, the other orders were fish and shrimp dishes as well as combination fried rice. Our food was tasty and our waitress was attentive and prompt. I was a little disappointed that there were no chips and salsa as a complimentary appetizer. I would recommend this restaurant.

  My mom recently passed away and this was her favorite place to eat and she would take us on occasionally on weekends since they first opened. I came by today and all of the staff made me feel like I was coming with my mom again just like old times. Shout out to everyone here who unknowingly made my day easier. It’s the little things that matter.

  We got there at 11am when they opened. Upon entering front door glass were dirty. I had to use the restroom to change baby. The toilets were not cleaned, you see hair and blood stains on the seat. It was hot/humid in there. Food was okay, shrimp fried rice was very mushy and underseasoned. Waitress was kind, I told her the problem with our food but she didn't offer to fix the issue. I wont be coming back.

  The host Anai provided excellent service from the moment we walked in. She greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel welcomed right away, setting a positive tone for our entire visit. Throughout our time there, she remained attentive, organized, and genuinely focused on making sure guests were taken care of. Andrea, the manager on duty, was also incredible—she checked in with us, ensured everything was going smoothly, and showed true leadership and professionalism. Everyone there created a friendly and comfortable environment that made our dining experience stand out. Their teamwork, attention to every detail, and outstanding customer service truly made our visit memorable, and we left feeling well taken care of. I highly recommend Anai and Andrea , thanks for the exceptional service.

  I recently visited Mambo Food in Willowbrook, and the food was outstanding — especially the fish tacos, which were perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. The flavors were fresh and balanced, definitely one of the best I’ve had anywhere. Our server was excellent — attentive, friendly, and really made our experience enjoyable. However, I found it a little odd that the manager or lead supervisor kept checking up on our server during our meal. It seemed unnecessary because our server was doing a fantastic job and clearly had everything under control. Overall, though, the food and service were top-notch. I’ll definitely be back!
