My boyfriend tasted it even though he was extremely full and said that it tasted like a traditional tres leches cake. Although the cake was tasty, there were several issues with the delivery. I requested a delivery time of 11:30-12:30. When I called the bakery at 12:41, I was told that the bakery did not open until 12. This time slot should not be available if the bakery is not open during this time. Next, I called the bakery again at around 1:10 inquiring about the cake and was told that the cake was dropped off and signed for. I voiced my dissatisfaction that I was not notified and was told that the driver is good about notifying that the delivery had been made. Attached is my call log, showing the two calls that I placed to the bakery and none that were placed to me by “said driver.” By the time that the cake was found, several guests had dessert at the restaurant and were too full to try the cake. I feel that the delivery fee was a waste of money. If I decide to order again in the future, I will definitely choose “pick up” instead of “delivery.”

The tres leches was creamy, rich, and not overly sweet and satisfied the tastes of a picky eater. The lemon blueberry cake was also very good. I usually dislike lemon flavored desserts, but it was a good mix between the sweetness of the frosting/blueberry and the fresh sourness of the lemon. The frosting wasn't overly sweet, either, which made everything more pleasant. The blueberry compote on top of the slice was also good. Although the size of a slice is good for a single person, I still think the slices cost a little too much for the amount given. I do still see myself coming back here in the future regardless, though.

We make a limited selection of 6-inch cake flavors, but you can always get slices of any flavor you like!
Why won't you write on my vegan cake?
The chocolate we use to write on cakes is not vegan, so we will not put non-vegan writing or decorations on a vegan dessert.
Will you write on my cake with colored frosting?
No, we only write with white chocolate or milk chocolate.
Will my cake be baked the night before I pick it up?
Custom orders are baked within 1-2 days of pickup. Standard menu items are baked fresh every week and kept at 0 degrees, so they stay at peak freshness until we deliver them to the store.
Will you add fresh fruit to my cake?
We have several desserts that are made with fresh fruit in the batter. We do not decorate our desserts with fresh fruit, however, and our stores do not keep fresh fruit on hand.
How do I store my leftover cake?
Cover it with plastic wrap, covering all the exposed parts. Store leftover cake in the fridge, but keep in mind that some flavors are best at room temperature. The storage and serving instructions for each cake are on our website.
How long is it safe to keep my cake?
If it’s wrapped well with no exposed edges, it will stay in the fridge for up to a week and up to a month in the freezer.

Why do I have to pay for a plaque? Why can’t youjust write on my cake?
Our cakes designs are not smooth on top so we cannot write on an uneven surface. We require a purchase of a plaque, so the writing looks beautiful! The recipient has a delicious, personalized piece of white or dark chocolate to take home with them.
Can I pick up my order before you open?
Sure, but please give us a call before you make the trip to ensure our truck has arrived with your order.
