The skinny African American girl at the register was dismissive. I told her I had a coupon for a free coffee she scanned it and said I’ll call you when ready. I wanted to order an avocado toast but felt so dismissed and rushed I just said okay. I got my coffee and left. Why did she assume i just wanted the free coffee? I ended up stopping at a gas station and got me a piece of sweet bread to eat with my coffee but I really wanted to eat and drink there.

- AAApril AdesidaNov 14, 20255.0The Capitol One Cafe is a nice place to stop to have a coffee (hot and cold) , they also serve food items , there is seating available with free wifi and area to connect your devices also , there aren't tellers at this location but there are friendly employees there to assist if needed , a ATM is inside and 2 on the outside for money transactions

I told her I was there for the cafe (thought the only one in the area was the one in Galleria). She went on to tell me the cafe has been there almost one year, I had no idea! She was so friendly and told me what banking services they offer. I already knew it wasn't a full bank but it was good to know what they can do. My iced caramel latte was good! (half off drinks for Capital One cardholders is a plus) I got my kids some pastries too. They played the games there while we waited for our food. I'd be a regular here if it was closer to me. I really love the vibes and staff 🙂

How do I bank at a Capital One Café?
Capital One Cafés offer a modernized, friendly approach to banking that provides a low pressure way to get support. While we don’t have traditional bank tellers in our Cafés, customers can use our self-service options to get everyday banking done., even on the weekend. Ambassadors are on hand to assist you along the way with your banking questions, and can even help you apply for an account. Capital One Checking account holders can use Café ATMs fee-free to check their balance, deposit or withdraw cash, make credit card payments and more. Come in for everyday banking–stay to enjoy a handcrafted beverage. You can also:
- Replace, reissue or activate your debit card
- Lock and unlock your debit card
- Change your debit card PIN
- Receive sign-in support
- Update account information like your address, phone number and email address
- Place or remove a stop payment on a check or ACH
- Request duplicate tax forms be mailed to you
- Order a checkbook

Yes, there are self-service ATMs available at all Cafés that are fee-free to Capital One customers. You can use them to deposit cash, deposit checks, pay your credit card bill and more. Not a customer? There’s a small fee to use the ATMs.
Can you reserve space at the Café?
Account holders (18+) can reserve a nook—a private workspace with tables and outlets—when they’re in the Café or from their Capital One mobile app. When in the Café, visitors can scan the QR code on the door of the nook to access the reservation portal to complete their booking. As of December 2024, account holders can make reservations in the Capital One mobile app by searching for their preferred Café, viewing the details of that Café and selecting "Reserve a Nook" to access the reservation portal.
