We Specialize in Providing a Fun Atmosphere for Group Celebrations. Recipient of Galveston’s Best Dance Club 2016, 2017, 2018 and Every other Year Since We Opened -Give or Take 1 or 2. We are Available for Private Events Sunday - Wednesday. We also do Special Events occasionally like UFC.

While attempting to order a drink, he was refused service despite being sober and behaving appropriately. During this interaction, the bartender named Joey used a racist slur toward him. There is no justification for this. Not policy, not discretion, nothing. This wasn’t about intoxication or behavior; it was about prejudice. Being denied service and then demeaned with racist language is humiliating, disturbing, and completely unacceptable in any establishment, especially one open to the public. Racism like this does not happen “by accident.” It reflects either a complete lack of training or a workplace culture that tolerates this behavior. Either way, Buckshot Saloon should be deeply embarrassed. If you are a person of color or care about basic human decency, I would strongly advise staying far away from this place. No one should be subjected to racism just for trying to buy a drink.
