Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Numerous customers reported frequent issues with incorrect orders, missing items, and cold food.

Food Quality

Great experience at this location! The staff was super professional and my order came out exactly how I wanted it. The dining area was clean and the atmosphere was welcoming. I’ll definitely be back.

Waited for over 20 minutes on 01/01/2026 @6am only to receive cold fries and a lukewarm burger. I was the only car in the drive thru mind you.

Ordered twice for clarification, again at the window because apparently they still couldn't understand. It was a simple order, used the meal numbers. Nothing complex. Everything was wrong! Had to park to go in to get things fixed and got attitude. I have never had bad service, this is "my" whataburger. Probably just a bad day for the team. (And, my spicy ketchup was still forgotten!)

The operator of this Whataburger is atrocious. Berating employees for giving me the ketchups I asked for is crazy, and definitely not the values that Whataburger instills in their business model. Instead of trying to cut costs in paper by limiting napkins and ketchups, why dont you invest into your employees and protect them from being harassed by the stream of homeless people that come in. Do yourself a favor and drive the few extra miles to the Whataburger on Dyer if you want a consistent and quality restaurant with Texan values.
