Ron and Hercules are simply the best part about coming out here for me and my dog, Charli. Hercules is the sheriff of mutts and doesn’t let any of the pooches get bullied without gently putting his body in between the chaos! Dog parks, am I right? One of my favorite spots in Dallas, no doubt.

The small dog side gets absolutely no attention from the staff. The heaters on that side are broken and/or out of fuel, but the fans are continuously blowing on high even when it’s cold at night. No one cares or pays attention at all. No poop bags (on either side). Staff is not attentive in the slightest. I spend more time picking up poop and tending to other people’s large dogs who have been let into the small dog side than actually getting to relax. One of the measly pieces of “exercise” equipment on the small side has broken/missing parts that will never be repaired. The latch to the only entrance for the small dog side has not worked in I don’t even know how long. There hasn’t even been hand soap in one of the restrooms all week. Yikes. There never seems to be anyone in charge walking around to see how things are going. Someone please tell me I’m wrong about any of these things and I will edit my review. I have no idea why people keep pretending this place is worth it—for the human or their dog.
I used to love the place before I moved here, but now that I live here, it has become such a letdown every time. Perhaps that’s when they changed ownership. Can someone who has ever run a small business for a day please step in. Please remember that people PAY a monthly membership to come here, and then they PAY for food and drink. What do they get in return?

Found this place via word of month 2 yrs ago when in town as part of Vegas Golden Knight organization. It was unique environment to let dog whom traveled with me to unwind. Met some genuine friendly Dallasites. However being in town for family emergency, this morning Friday 12-12-25 had the disgusting experience of find a homeless individual dedicating in the tan bark at the furthest part of dog park. The cantina was not open to report it. Tried to call numerous times and no one answered phone later this morning and afternoon.
Please be safe. This issue will be posted on numerous social media pages regarding this venue looking more run down and unsafe.

I don't characterize this as a dog park. This is an outdoor bar without enough tvs to watch football and barely enough room to accommodate patrons with 10 pound dogs (or less). The concept might work better if they rebranded it to "Small Dogs Cantina."
The actual "pit" area is very small, surrounded by chairs where people can drink alcohol, get their shoes dirty, socialize in a condensed area and hope the dog doesn't get mauled by a visiting 150 pound dog. It's your dog and take your chances.
It's not for me and my dog and there's way better options for this prime real estate.
Add gravel, lose the dirt cedar pit, and turn this location into a hopping beer garden for all the residents who would love to enjoy it.
The owner of this location is "missing it" on concept. If you want people to pay for a membership for a dog park, you need to have "dog attendants" and frankly, more space. This is a "pay to put your dog at risk in a small space" program.
Not a good use of Dallas real estate.
