- EEEdOct 29, 20251.0Decided to give this longjohns location a shot since the location in Mesquite by town East Mall tasted great. But, this Oak Cliff location fell very short. You could tell the fish had been fried twice or something because it was a dark brown color. Did not taste good, and was hard. Fried fish is not supposed to be hard. Hush puppies were super greasy and nasty. Was very disappointed with our visit. The only good thing was the cheesecake factory cheesecake slice.

The gentleman that took my order did perfect, now the atmosphere is a complete disappointment. There's a gentleman in a wheel chair shaving his head near the countertop and the staff does nothing about it. There was a pan handler in the restaurant and nothing was sone about it; I get it since this location is near the train stop but the owner needs to understand that there is paying customers that would love to enjoy their food!
