Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I love whataburger, always great service. Except this location, drive through line is 20-40 minute wait at anytime of the day. Cashiers will pocket extra cash. Paid 20 bucks today, for a number 20 whatameal. Which was 8.77. I received only .23 cents.

The place was packed and the service never wavered. The staff kept pushing out the food even when there was a rush of about 14 young athletes. Kudos to the staff and the young gentleman who cleans the tables and delivers the food. He has a heart of gold. I have been a frequent visitor to this location and it does not disappoint, online, inside and drive thru.

If there is one thing I expect at Whataburger… it’s a slow drive thru. This location is your typical Whataburger, so you can expect to sit in line longer than you want.

Service was VERY slow for a simple order, but the employees were very nice. Atmosphere was fine and it seemed clean, but we noticed a lot of flies. Our burgers were both fine. I love that you can get the onions grilled, but wish there were more pickles. (And yes, we requested extra.)
Not displeased with this location in particular, I've just noticed that all Whataburgers seem to be pretty slow even when you order ahead through the app.
