Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- RHRodolfo Hernandez6 days ago1.0I have always stopped at this location because they have always been great, today was far from great, they were training a new person which I am all for it, but when you see a line forming and it's over 5 people in line step up and get someone else to help. I place my order after a long time waiting. After placing my order I realized she put to go, I went up to the counter and let the experienced cashier know my number and that it was going to be for dine in, she told me she would take care if it, next thing they are calling my number around the restaurant with a to go bag. I asked them to place it on a tray, she stated they were out of clean trays, I could see so many trays from where I was at. I told them to cancel my order and issue a refund, the manager never even asked what the problem was just issued a refund and never even apologized. When I tried explaining all he said was have a good day.

I’ve had issues with night crew before they’ve forgotten a whole burger in my order but she is so great she makes up for anything wrong night crew has done lol. There are more workers I’ve met that are also pretty good in the morning crew as well.

After we placed our breakfast order, my grandson asked her what does the prickly pear drink taste like. She tried to explain then said, "let me bring you a sample." It was delicious. Loved her attitude of helpfulness. Thank you for a great breakfast and a kind cashier.
